I used this deck at regionals today and went 5-0 during the swiss. Then during the first round of the playoffs I lost. Can U think of a way to get around Scizor Ex so that it doesnt reduce by 40 and do 40 damage extra?

Swallow Up or hit the bench.

The point of this deck is to get a Politoed ex ASAP and Punch and Run away. Then setup another one when needed. As long as they don't hit the bench you are safe.

MiamiSportsFan-- Congratulations on your performance at regionals.

Like WhishCashEX said, swallow up is nice, but it won't OHKO scizor if he's got metals on him that aren't from super connectivity (assuming you played against SMP), So i'd punch and run until he's in swallow up range, then just KO him. Simple as that. If he's reducing by forty a turn, build up another politoed, swallow up for 70, then sac a politoed and swallow up again for the KO.

are you kiddinh me the one that won states and took 4th at our regionals had 2 BF and 4 curse stone

How did he set up? Just pure supporter cards? I know he wasn't running Pidgeot...so what?

One thing about this deck however is wut if you come across a Pow-da-cham? That would seriously mess up your ability to get cards out that you need.

Wow, realy good article - I think this should be front paged!

BLS is almost impossible to win as Steelix crushes your bench, may I also make the point that Typhlosion Liability is now using ATM Ice, which ko's all those fossils and My own list uses pow! This is however a very good list.

All you need down is a Fossil a turn.

If that is such a big problem, how can it be fixed?

Yes, I will admit that this deck has an auto loss to LBS, unfortunetly making it less popular. At this point I think its more of a fun deck untill the format changes, then you will see a lot of Politoed ex because Pidgeot and Stoise will be gone. Its a really cool deck thats fun to play, we just need to be patient untill the time is right. But anyways as far as the ATM ice goes, Thats really not a big problem at all. Poli-Stall never has more then 1-2 Fossil's down, so your not going to do much with ice. We just have to serch for another Fossil and run again. Thanks for the compliment on my list though. I am going to update it soon.

I play mine with fossils and shedinja. Throw the curse powder on and attack the ex's for 4 damage counters. I like to have fun with the deck but going into round one at houston against a BLS was no good. Was 4-2 going into the last round and had some fun along the way. This one game of sudden death was like 15 min or more into overtime before I won. Last round was vs. a ty ex and he keep derailing the cards I needed and 5-2 still would not have made the cut so I packed up to see my son take his deck into the top 16 with a 5th place ranking.

Pow-da-cham isnt a biggee against this deck

It shuts your powers down but supporers get around that

Good point, it will be much more competitve next season, just a couple of Ideas;

Scrap the Pidgeots, and play Lunalock - Lunatone could search for great ball, rare Candy and and fossils, plus you've got a lock on your opponants Pidgeots and Magcargos. You wouldn't be able to search for counter stadiums that well so you'ld be at risk from Ruins so prehaps you could play 3 Frontier, 2 Cursed stone. The frontier and Lunalock would give you a win vs Rock Lock. And lastly might you considar Weezing, with Cursed stone it could kill tonnes of pokemon and then once its KOed you can call out another fossil:thumb:

What do you think?

Ya, Next season QS will not be an option so I have been thinking of a different way to make this deck work, and for the better. I'm hesitent about playing the Lunarock, but I havn't tested alot yet. I would really like to take Dendro's list and update it, seeing how it did win a state and it didn't use Pidgeot.

this deck has become incredibly popular...

slash in the sand-- you should revise your article, do a little more research, and submit it for front page. Nice work!
