Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pronunciation

I tend to say soo-ee, but I've always figured the difference to be more about difference in speed of pronunciation. I'm just holding on to the oo longer than a swee person (where it'll go by really fast).

I am never pronouncing rayquaza rayquayza. ever.
The dub pronounces it that way. Then again, it's the only official pronounciation I do not agree with, so I stick to Ray-qwa-zuh.

I pronounce...

Jirachi as Jee-rah-ki. It just sounds better to me.

Me too.

The funny thing is, whenever I pronounce it that way, people suddenly act like Im speaking a different Language.

One person at my League... oh, man, he butchers the pronunciations. One fine example: to him, Kyogre rhymes with Tyrogue.

I hate it when people pronounce Groudon and Kyogre wrong. They call Groudon "Gru-don" instead of "Grow-don" (the ow rhimes with "ow" and Kyogre "Ky-rougue" instead of "Kee-o-ger" or "Ky-o-ger."
