Chris, you are corrrect, sir!! Japanese would never, ever place a stress on an internal syllable like we do. Note the emphasis on syllable 2 of "Meganium" in the English version. Each syllable should receive approximately equal stress in Japanese. But, realize that their is a difference between pronouncing these names correctly in Japanese and pronouncing them correctly in English.
