Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Rockford IL CC Sat Jan 6 *updated w/ pics!*

Im sorry but Im reviving the Immy incident

Immy that was 100% unacceptable. I always get bashed whenever I complain about anything.

All of you other guys may not mind that he is saying these things but Im not gonna stand for it.

Basically Immy was feeling sorry for himself for he went fishing for sympathy. When he realized nobody was willing to give him that support he decided his approach was wrong and he apologized. That apology wasnt sincere it was just a way out of it.

Immy, those cards wouldnt have mattered even if they were in your deck. ANY good t-tar player will beat Bandoom 99.99% of the time, and thats against the really good players, those odds are raised against you. You are an extremely sore loser and should be ashamed of yourself. I used to make rediculous excuses like this and I always had the elders scream at me about how I need to shut up and since nobody else will do it you have me.

Good Day
Kevin Bennett

I dropped it. Okay. If you want to start this I can go straight to POP. I do not want to do that but if I'm gonna be threatened, I will.

You think I lost did you? We resolved it. What is the point of continuing.

What did I lose? I made a solid Top 4 in a tough crowd of 11-14.

I knew it was an autoloss. The top 4 all heard me say it once they announced it that I was playing Mike and I said oh great autoloss. I knew it was an autoloss. I was arguing the penalty and the way it was sorted out. Not the playing.

You never know what might happen. Ttar can get a horrid start and get T2 banette.

No what would have happened was more exposure to think TIY is a bad place or has bad judges which is 100% false. If you think I was scared of what would happen go guess again. If you had a problem talk to my face about it.

And your thinking I'm a sore loser? It's freaking pokemon! Oh no I didn't win boo hoo. I just go there to have fun and play good matches. I was seriously contemplating to give my spot to Matt since I knew he had a better match but I couldn't do that.

You did not witness this event taking place only the top 4 and judging staff. It is none of your buisness in the first place.

See this type of senseless posts makes me want to quit so badly.

It's too competitive. I just wanna play and collect cards.

Sore loser, call me that. Did I throw a fit there? No I talked to Devin and there was nothing he could do. It ended up being a caution anyway so its not a big deal.

But if you sir wanna make a big deal out of it, go ahead.

What would you have done if this was your position? Not just the matchup, but getting to the event, getting cards, beating the last call signal to sign up. Using sleeves at a previous event with the same judges.

u kno yall can like quit netime now rite
both of u made yall points so now go pm eachother about it.......stop posterizing it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why should I pm him about a past event?

I don't plan to quit but posts like that are just like garghhhh.

He called me a sore loser. It was nothing about the match. I was very happy and went beyond my expectation for this tournament.

Maybe you(Kevin) are the sore loser for being told down by elders. So why unleash it on someone younger?

Treat others the way you wanna be treated?

Whoa there guys. Kevin that wasn't very nice. I'd rather keep the topic on what a fantastic event we had, about how many awesome players were in the room, about how wonderful it was that so many players traveled so far to come to compete in Rockford, about the great media coverage we had, about how cool Tomorrow Is Yesterday was for providing Free Pizza for everyone... and even how sweet it was of little ole me for spending almost an entire day on Friday baking 26 dozen cookies for everyone.... How about we reflect on those topics of discussion on this board, ok? I really don't want our great topic here to turn into something icky that it doesn't need to, ok? That would just spoil all my fun, and I'd really rather not have my happy bubble of excitement over this great day be burst, k? Thanks!

Great JOB CAMILLE AND FAMILY!!!!

just like 'mama said guys. It's to have fun. I'm very competetive in anything i do especially the TCG. When i lose i usually don't blame my opponent or that I got a bad start. I just take it. For me that's saying a lot. I hold myself back knowing there are little kids around. The worse I have said is "God, dang it!" Which IMHO isn't a bad swear. And i'm usually saying it to myself since I realize after the match is over what my misplay was that cost me the game.

I could have been upset yesterday at the fact that my alarm clock didn't go off, and made my arrive late and take a first round out loss. But i wasn't. I could have been mad at the fact that I lost first round in the SSBM tournament but i wasn't. I kept a positive attitude. Even after only sleeping 2 hours in from Friday 1 PM to 9 PM Saturday.

That could pretty much come down to opinion. Some say it's Falco, others say Fox, and still some say Captain Falcon. Look at the tiers they might give you an idea as to your question. And Camille Rockford was great! Despite my dropping out early, the tourney was a great success, and the management was amazingly good, and the people were oh so nice and pleasant. Oh and those cookies were SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!!! And also thanks to all who helped out at the tourney. I will most definetly be at that Power Keepers Pre-Release in Rockford for sure. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

Oh so very glad you had a good time! Look forward to seeing you at our Power Keepers on Sun Feb 4th!

Glad you liked the cookies! I'll have to start thinking of what ones to make for the PK Pre... I've already had a request for Peanut butter cookies I know....

Yeah awesome tourney Camille, I had a good time....
major props for the celios for helping me get back home after my car messed up on me... :frown:
Anyway I hope all of you can make it to the Racine Wi CC (one of the last chance CC's). Its on the
20th, more info here. Don't forget, there will be a raffle for some nice prizes (one of which is a nice DS game) throughout the tourney, and those who preregister also get a chance at a bonus raffle.

...I wish I had played more SSBM, it was fun to play with some people out there, I was playing in the side event and I had to drop because I didn't finish my TCG match before my Melee match. I hope we get to play more in the future...by the way, Princess JIGGLY rocks!!!

CMT

Camille, thats why I dropped it. I didn't want to make that ruin this thread from such the positives of this event.

Chris- I wasn't upset about getting top 4. I was thrilled for Nate more than myself cause Nate's had a lot of close finishes and it was great to see him make his first top cut.

I wasn't blaming Mike or any opponent. He didn't quite get a good start either. He was the better player and had the better deck.

Now drop that senseless rubbish and lets reflect upon the good of this event.

Camille, my parents LOVED your cookies!

Oh Ya baby! :thumb: *hi-fives Immy* And glad they liked the cookies!

Hey just so everyone knows, the slight problem with the Top 16 cut on my TOM program has now been fixed and the tourney has now been uploaded.

Congrats to all the players who came and participated!! You ALL made the Top Cut in MY book!

ROCKFORD FOR STATES!!! ROCKFORD FOR REGIONALS!!!

What else do I have to say? One of the best tournaments I've been to this side of the Lake, if not THE best (I've never been to any of Vince's St Louis tourneys, and I'm trying to decide between Jared and Camille's events right now. Seems like a tie to me...), plus she let both Abe AND myself prop our own tourneys. Check my sig for mine.

Thanks, Camille. As always, a wonderful event. See you at PK!!
