Rockford IL CC Sat Jan 6 *updated w/ pics!*

Thanks guys! That really means a lot! Thought I'd mention I updated our TIYPokemon website with some of the pics from the Rockord Register Star article. I'll have bunches of pics that we took up shortly, but at least these ones are up for now :wink:
 
If anyone didn't get their CC pin or promo card at our CC, just let me know... thanks to MP Birch I now have the spares I need to send them out to anyone who didn't get them that day. I'll be bringing them in for all my local peeps on Sat to TIY, but if there's anyone else out there who didn't get theirs and doesn't remember if they got on my list or not, feel free to PM me and I'll get it out to you!

Well a good idea would be in order to get states or regionals then you need to prove you have a larger place to hold people. Since the womens club only has the capacity for a cities.

LOL, of course our Cities was the size of some States ! Anyway, we'd have that covered, I assure you :wink: Thanks for the cheering section Ryan! Also I've updated our TIY Pokemon site that includes all the upcoming nearby CC events, to now have the links to their info as well :thumb:

Thanks Vince! Oh believe me I'm ready! We've been ready, right Rockford?! :thumb: I think most everyone who's been to Rockford's events would enjoy going to more of them! Rockford would LOVE the chance to shine for States/Regionals!

The only thing that would scare me is the thought of how many cookies I'd need to bake for a Regionals! :eek: Geez, let's see, I baked 26 dozen for our CC... I'd need about 35-40 dozen if we got States... and I'd be baking about 50-60 dozen if we got Regionals! Holy cow that's a lotta cookies! :eek:

But I'd do it! I'd gladly do it if it would "seal the deal"! :clap:

Are you going to open a bakery? lol. This event was pimpin' BIG TIME~ Also, it was my 1st T-8 in my history of CC's. lol

This was a really awesome Cities!

I'm probably the newest member to TIY Rockford Pokemon TCG, and this was my first ever citites.

From what I can tell, this is how a cities is supposed to be like. It was very organized, run efficiently, the people were friendly and kind, it's a very ideal spot for any pokemon tournament.

It was a very well handled event, and I believe that it would be a nice thing to see Rockford hold either States or Regionals, or Both. I still have to have my first time at those events, and I can't wait to go to one and I believe that if it's in Rockford, it'd be the perfect place for one.

The main PTO Camille, is very nice and she's a really sweet person, she makes everyone feel at home and with tons of yummy cookies, she totally knows how to run an event like this and keep it under control with ease.

Again, very great event in Rockford, I hope to be at more big events in Rockford.
 
Hey thanks a lot for the kind words! I appreciate it! We always try to make everyone feel welcome in Rockford because we feel everyone should have the best Pokemon experience they can! We try to make it all about you guys! Besides, there are so many of us that gather there from all over that it's sort of like a great reunion of Pokemon friends whenever we all get together for our events!

Hey also have to mention that our James F just got his 4th CC 1st place today, this time in MN! Go James! Now let's hope they have a safe drive home in the snow... it's kinda nasty out there tonight! Nice of Troy to let them stay there in LaCrosse for the night and finish driving home tomorrow. See that's what I mean... Pokemon friends helping each other! Gotta love it!

yup......Troy is definitly a GREAT friend to have once again thanx for letting us spin the night at urr house so we could get out of that snowstorm....:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: .Me,

We had fun...but me and Justin couldnt go n2 the Mall of America because we were too young and it was too late.............lol
