Looks like there will most probably be 5 of us coming in the IL caravan- 3 of the 4 Team Sprocket people and 2 others. We'll be there when the place opens, and of course we look forward to the upcoming battle. En Garde!
 
My brother has changed his mind and will be coming this weekend as well. We will be there between 10 and 10:30, but most likely closer to 10.

Also, I need to have a meeting with all 10-'s and 11-14's once we get there. I need to make a motion and see if everyone is willing to go through with it. Make sure you meet with me before signing in if you want to get a chip of not only the enhanced prize stucture, but also to show the 15+ peeps what we are made of. ;)

You would have a better chance at winning your age division than winning 15+. I don't see how that would benefit anyone but you Hypno.
 
Just got through making another 18 promo cards, hopefully that'll be enough for the tournament. Look for me in the black Noir shirt and AC/DC hat. See yah there!
 
It benefits all of us. We have NOTHING to lose. I am already 100% sure that Cody, Josh, and I are playing into 15+. Also, people such as Zachary, Chris, and Peter will be the only ones left in the lower divisions. What will they have to lose? 1 or 2 packs? It doesn't make sense to keep those minute prizes when you can go for the gold and automatically get 4 TRR Packs and 2 OP Packs.

Reminder: All 10-'s and 11-14's please see me before signing in. I'd like to bring this "playing up ordeal" to attention. Hopefully you will all do it for your own sake, but if you feel you shouldn't do this, then be my guest and stay in your division.
 
Whether or not a player should 'play up' into the larger 15+ division depends on the player's probability of succeeding there. All of our 11-14 players are probably up to the challenge, but not all the 10- are.

It may be better for some players to remain in their division prize pool.

Please remember that the extra prizes I'm giving are just that, extra.

Everyone will get the standard prizes given at all the prereleases, which are pretty excellent to begin with!.

The tournaments were awesome! I got 5th in the modified, which earned me 5 packs of TRR. Props to BrokenLizard for another great day of Pokemon!
 
Hey, I went 6-0 and won the box. It was a real nice day, though I didnt do nearly as well in the modified rounds.
 
In the modified I went 3-1 in swiss then lost to pooka in the finals. I think I drew about 4 or 5 energy and 4 or 5 trainers (2 celio, a vs seeker, and an ancient tomb). In a 23 person tournament, I'll take 2nd anyday. Brookfield's tournaments are definetely the best I've attended so far.
