well the cloyster D wouldn't protect your Claydol, the dugtrio would.
Palkia isn't that good, if it would have 2 retreat cost instead of 3 then ok, you could play it with Mantine and not worry about having to still discard an energy.

dude, can you shut up? who plays Latios ex d? You do have Claydol or Dugtrio to hit that. The list plays warp points, it's far from GG. What do you get with all these stupid responces? Nothing, it's just annoying to counter everything you say.

I nice player would play Latios ex d to have 0 retreat cost in heavy decks and do combos with warp point,
But the question is, Who plays this deck? its far away to be a GG/Magmortar counter.

Well, I just beat Mew*, I had a crap start basically, but, it came down to a coin flip. It was a GREAT game nontheless. Dugtrio FTW!!!

Yeah, a crazy game where the Burn check decided the victor. One Prize to one Prize. Great battle.
I'd describe it as a 70-30 matchup in Salamence's favor. But only if the build plays Dugtrio. That really makes a huge difference. I would have easily taken that Swablu from his bench for the final prize, but Dugtrio was there to protect it.

No longer do I think it is 70-30, I think it is 60-40. You get bad hands with sally...:frown:

OK, well this deck needs to use these to give it protection from Gallade. It has no chance without them.
Read Wobbuffet PK, if you have Wobbuffet PK active and Salamence try to do 40-40 it cant, because Safeguard prevents all effects of attack, if I do Ice Barrier, you cant hit my bech.. If I have an active pokemon with Unown G, you cant snipe my bench for 40.

Two players made top 8 at Ontario Provincials one of them being me, but we were playing a different engine and only using Sally EX PK and no water energies or unown g and no techs to make better matchup. (we played identical list)
We fought a total of 8 gardylade and only lost 4 but not because of Sonic blade but because of Psychic lock. We didn't face any Magmortar decks but we practiced extensively against it to realize that it was close to 50-50 with our first draft and we had to make some changes to make sure that it was about 70-30.
