ensingmerlin: What's the idea with an XD Über? Beating an uber already wins the game, so making it Pokémon-XD (or any prize increasing suffix, for that matter) is pointless. And it isn't Sugimori?

Charizardian: I entirely forgot to ask when you first posted your set... who's Liza? The Psychic leader (along with Tate) of Mossdeep City Gym?

-------------------
Norman's Castform // HP: 70 // Type: (C)
Basic Pokémon

Poké-Power: Temperamental Weather -- Once during your turn, (before your attack), you may search your deck for Castform, Sunny Castform, Rain Castform, or Snow-cloud Castform and switch it with Norman's Castform. (Any cards attached to Norman's Castform, damage counters, Special Conditions and effects on it are now on the new Pokémon.) Shuffle Norman's Castform back into your deck. You can't use more than 1 Temperamental Weather Poké-Power each turn.
Poké-Body: Vigor Shower -- If there's a Stadium card with Norman or Petalburg in its name in play, al of your Pokémon in play get +10 HP.
(C)(C) Absolute Stability Field -- Base Damage: 20 -- No Stadium cards may be played (it goes to the Discard Pile instead) or leave play until the end of your next turn. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.

Weakness: (F) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)
-------------------
Kabutops // HP: 80 // Type: (C)
Stage 2 Pokémon -- Evolves from Kabuto

Poké-Body: Crystal Type -- Whenever you attach a (F), (W), or (G) basic energy from your hand to Kabutops, Kabutops's type becomes the same as that type of Energy until the end of your turn.
(F)(G) Clear Cut -- Base Damage: 30 -- Remove all Special Conditions from all Active Pokémon in play. Put a damage counter in 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon, if any.
(W)(W)(F)(C) Massive Trample -- Base Damage: 30 -- Switch the Defending Pokémon (after you do damage) with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon, if any. If you do, this attack does 20 damage to the new Defending Pokémon. Then, switch the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon, if any. If you do, this attack does 20 damage to the new Defending Pokémon.

Weakness: (G) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)(C)
Author's Note: No, you're not seeing double. Massive Trample switches the defending Pokémon two times, dealing 30 damage to the original defending pokémon, then 20 to the new defending pokémon, then 20 to a third pokémon (which may be the first Pokémon attacked this way, if you want). Total of 70 base damage spread in groups of 30-20-20, and that's without counting weakness.
-------------------
Charizard Gym
Trainer Card (Stadium)

[Stadium Rule: This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium comes into play.]

Ignore Weakness in all (R) Pokémon in play. Any Pokémon with Charizard in its name gets +10 HP.
-------------------
Eevee // HP: 50 // Type: (C)
Basic Pokémon

Poké-Power: Reverse Engineer -- Whenever Eevee evolves, put a Revert counter on this Pokémon. Once during his or her turn, a player may remove a Revert counter from 1 of his or her Pokémons. If he or she does, remove the highest Stage Evolution card from that Pokémon.
(C) Rush -- Base Damage: 10 -- Flip a coin. If heads, you may put a damage counter in any Pokémon in play.

Weakness: (F) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)
-------------------

What's the idea with an XD Über? Beating an uber already wins the game, so making it Pokémon-XD (or any prize increasing suffix, for that matter) is pointless. And it isn't Sugimori?
Oops.. forgot about the whole Sugimori thing... Just last night I found one of my old topics in google and I mispelled Sugimori in that one as well...

The point of making it an XD is to give it massive HP. WOOT!(350 for an uber, x5 or x5.5 for an XD.)

Pikachu δ 50HP [W]

Basic Pokémon

PokéBody: PikaBlue.
All [L] Energy cards attach to Pikachu provide [W] instead of their usual type.

[W][W] Surf 30

Ensignmerlin's Pikachu 60HP [L]

Basic Pokémon

PokéBody: Double or nothing.

Charizardian: Bah, i don't watch the anime (although i'm not a complete noob on the subject, either). Anyway, congrats on finishing your set. Just one thing... isn't Planet Charizard hideously broken? It shuts off all evolutions...

tonio: As it seems you can't fix your set, i'll adopt it to myself so i can correct it. If you want it back, please ask.

And here it is, the Aerodactyl set, along with tonio's cards in a more readable format. And a Sunflorazumarill to inaugurate that set, too. Anyone is free to reserve or do any cards on the set. Reserved cards are itallicized, followed by the reserver's name in parenthesis, and the bolded titles mean cards already made. Information in brackets are exigences for that card.

-------------------
Aerodactyl * // HP: 70 // Type: (C)
Basic Pokémon

[Pokémon-* Rule: You can't have more than 1 Pokémon-* in your deck.]

(C) Recharge -- Base Damage: 0 -- Search your deck for up to three different Basic Energy cards and reveal them to your opponent. If you do, choose 1 of these cards. Attach the chosen card to Aerodactyl *, then set the other cards aside, shuffle your deck, put the other cards in top of your deck, then put the bottom card of your deck on top of your deck.
(C)(C)(C) Star Flight -- Base Damage: 0 -- If Aerodactyl * has 3 or more different Basic Energy types attached to it and your opponent has any Benched Pokémon, Knock Out the Defending Pokémon. If you do, shuffle Aerodactyl * into your deck, and your opponent may draw a number of Prizes equal to the number of Prizes drawn by you because of this attack minus 1.

Weakness: (L) // Resistance: (F) - 30 // Retreat Cost: (C)
Editor's Notes: Finished Recharge, gave the card a weakness, toned down its HP, and made the opponent draw more prizes if the attack knocked a Pokémon-!!. It probably still is very broken, though.
-------------------
Aerodactyl δ ex // HP: 110 // Type: (F)
Stage 1 Pokémon -- Evolves from Mysterious Fossil

[Pokémon-ex Rule: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.]

Poké-Power: Hide n' Seek -- Once during your turn (Before your attack), you may search your deck for another Aerodactyl ex with δ in its card, and switch it with Aerodactyl ex (Any cards attached to Aerodactyl ex, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokemon.). Shuffle Aerodactyl ex back into your deck. Then, remove a damage counter from this Pokémon. You can't use more than 1 Hide n' Seek Poké-Power each turn. You can't use this power if Aerodactyl ex is affected by the Paralyzed, Asleep, or Confused Special Condition.
(F)(F)(C) Dragon Claw -- Base Damage: 60 -- You may flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Burned and Asleep. If tails, put a Charred counter in one of your Benched Pokémon, if any. Between turns, each player flips a coin for each Pokémon he or she has in play with a Charred counter. Put 2 damage counters in each Pokémon who had a tails this way.

Weakness: (L) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
Editor's Notes: Finished Hide n' Seek, altered bottom stats entirely, changed Dragon claw's bench burn (which can't exist) to something more deadly and toned down its strenght, but it still may be broken.
-------------------
Sunflorazumarill ex // HP: 100 // Type: (G)
Stage 1 Pokémon -- Evolves from Sunkarill

[Pokémon-ex Rule: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.]

Poké-Power: Natural Balance -- As often as you like during your turn, you may attach a Basic Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Pokémon. If at any time you have more Energy cards in play than your opponent, choose and discard Energy cards attached to your Pokémons until you have the same number of Energy cards in play as your opponent. As often as you like during your turn, move a basic Energy card from 1 of your Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. If at any time 1 of your Pokémon has a higher number of Energy cards attached to it than your opponent's Pokémon with the highest number of Energy cards attached to it, discard Energy cards attached to your Pokémon until it has the same number of Energy cards attached to it as the your opponent's Pokémon with the highest number of Energy cards attached to it. You can't move or attach cards with this power if Sunflorazumarill ex is affected by a Special Condition.
(G)(G)(C) Solar Punishment -- Base Damage: 20+ -- Flip a number of coins equal to the Defending Pokémon's remaining HP, divided by ten. This attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each heads.

Weakness: (C)(G) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)(C)

Aerodactyl δ ex // HP: 110 // Type: (P)
Stage 1 Pokémon -- Evolves from Mysterious Fossil

[Pokémon-ex Rule: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.]

Poké-Body: Delta Pressure -- Attacks on any Active Pokémon other than yours cost (C) more.
(P)(C) Psyflight -- Base Damage: 30 -- Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, during your opponent's next turn. If tails, you may search your deck for another Aerodactyl ex with δ in its card, and switch it with Aerodactyl ex (Any cards attached to Aerodactyl ex, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokemon.), then shuffle Aerodactyl ex back into your deck.
(P)(P)(C) Holon Cyclone -- Base Damage: 20x -- This attack does 20 damage times the number of cards with Holon in its card (excluding this one).

Weakness: (L) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
Author's notes: Holon in its card counts as both in actual text (like most cards who reference Holon Energies) or simply on the card title (like the Pokémon/Energy Holons)
-------------------
Aerodactyl δ ex // HP: 110 // Type: (F)(L)
Stage 1 Pokémon -- Evolves from Mysterious Fossil

[Pokémon-ex Rule: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.]

Poké-Power: Ionized Dust -- Whenever your opponent places one of his or her Benched Pokémon as his or her Active Pokémon, he or she must move all Energy cards attached to that Pokémon to his or her other Benched Pokémons. If he or she doesn't, discard the Energy cards that should have been moved this way.
(C) Flee -- Base Damage: 10 -- Search your deck for another Aerodactyl ex with δ in its card, and switch it with Aerodactyl ex (Any cards attached to Aerodactyl ex, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokemon.), then shuffle Aerodactyl ex back into your deck.
(L)(F)(C) Hard Swift -- Base Damage: 30 -- This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Powers, Bodies, or any other effect on the Defending Pokémon. Choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to it.

Weakness: (W) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
-------------------
Sunflorazumarill // HP: 80 // Type: (W)
Stage 1 Pokémon -- Evolves from Sunkarill

(W) Bubble Pollen -- Base Damage: 10 -- Flip a coin for each Energy card attached to the Defending Pokémon. If any coin flipped this way is heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Then, your opponent may discard any number of Energies attached to his or her Defending Pokémon.
(C)(C)(C) Twin Barrels -- Base Damage: 30+ -- Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more for each (W) Energy attached to Sunflorazumarill but not used to pay for this attack's Energy Cost, plus 10 more damage for each heads.

Weakness: (G) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
Author's Note: You may be finding Twin Barrels bizzare, but the attack actually is a 10 (but unlimited maximum) damage Water Gun mixed with a 20 to 50 damage Bullet Seed. The wording may be a bit off, though, it's been a lot of time since i worded Water Gun alikes, i should stop being lazy and consult the guide.

Water Adept: I think i have a better wording for Darkened Shell: "Whenever your opponent attacks, if Dark Kabutops is the Defending Pokémon and has at least (D)(D) Energy attached to it, put 2 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon." And that Continous Drain wording is also strange... "As long as" shouldn't be used with a static action like Retreating (or else you'd have things like "As long as your turn doesn't end"), i think "Until" seems much better there (of course, you must also change the "don't retreat" to "retreats"). A tip; try reading your wordings in portuguese, it is easier to see the problems in it (if it is your native language) than in english. At least that's what i do...

-------------------
Kabutops * // HP: 70 // Type: (W)
Basic Pokémon

Poké-Body: Shining Scythe -- If Kabutops * is your only Pokémon in play and you have taken less Prize cards than your opponent, attacks performed by it do 30 more damage times the difference between the number of Prize cards your opponent has taken and the number of Prize cards you have taken.
(F)(F) Spinning Double -- Base Damage: 20x -- Flip two coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads. If both, or neither coins are heads, you may switch the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.
(F)(C)(C)(C) Hydrogen Shell -- Base Damage: 30 -- Put 2 damage counters in each Benched Pokémon in play. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Kabutops * during your opponent's next turn.

Weakness: (G) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
-------------------
Brock's Kabutops // HP: 100 // Type: (F)
Stage 2 Pokémon -- Evolves from Brock's Kabuto

Poké-Power: Rock Master -- Reduce any damage dealt to Brock's Kabutops by 10 for each (F) Energy attached to Brock's Kabutops. This power stops working if Brock's Kabutops is affected by a Special Condition.
(F)(F)(F)(C) Ancientfight -- Base Damage: 10+ -- Flip 6 coins. This attack does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each heads. If the first coin is heads, prevent any effects of attacks (Except damage) during your opponent's next turn. If the second coin is heads, the Defending Pokémon can't retreat during the next 3 turns. If the third coin is heads, the Defending Pokémon can't perform any attack printed on it during the next 3 turns. If the fourth coin flipped this way is heads, you may choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon and switch it with the Defending Pokémon. If the fifth coin flipped this way is heads, put a damage counter on the Defending Pokémon. If the sixth coin flipped this way is heads, flip another coin, and if heads, discard an Energy card from the Defending Pokémon. You may apply these effects in any order you like.

Weakness: (G) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
-------------------
Roxanne's Kabutops // HP: 90 // Type: (F)
Stage 2 Pokémon -- Evolves from Roxanne's Kabuto

(C)(C) Magnetic Scythe -- Base Damage: 0 -- This attack does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon with the highest number of Energies attached to it out of all your opponent's Pokémon (You choose in case of a tie). Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed.
(F)(C)(C)(C) Flow -- Base Damage: 10x -- This attack does 10 damage times the number of Pokémon with Roxanne in its name in play. Remove a number of damage counters from Roxanne's Kabutops equal to the damage dealt this way divided by ten. After removing damage counters, you may make this attack deal 10 more damage for each Pokémon with Mysterious Fossil, Kabuto, or Kabutops in its name (You can't damage more than 1 Pokémon this way).

Weakness: (G) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)(C)
Author's Notes: I don't know if Flow is overcosted or not... It is an attack capable of dealing 100 damage and recovering 60 damage at the same time, should your bench be filled with 3 Roxanne's Kabuto/Kabutops, and 2 other Roxanne's Anything else, after all, but i don't think that's easy to do.
-------------------

Another set down, a lot more to go. I think i'll try finishing the castform set before moving on, i'm not sure.

To Carrington: You do realize that once this megaset is done it will have more cards than FF7, right?

SET COMPLETE

ensingmerlin: Just one thing... remember this isn't yet another attempt to make the biggest set ever, this is an community-oriented project, designed to showcase mechanics in general, improve your skills as a setmaker (and as an extension, introduce new members to the art of setmaking), encourage interaction between community members, and most importantly, have fun. So if at any moment you feel you're running out of ideas for your set's Pokémon, or that doing the same pokémon 14 times in a row simply isn't fun, then try helping someone else, it'll make you have new ideas, and encourage that person to retribute the favour, too.

puyallup_phantom: You have a Sunny Day Castform listed, but i'm assuming it should be Sunny Castform instead (at least that's what Temperamental Weather says). If you want me to change it to Sunny Day Castform, just give the order and it's done.

-------------------
Sunny Castform // HP: 70 // Type: (R)
Basic Pokémon

Poké-Power: Temperamental Weather -- Once during your turn, (before your attack), you may search your deck for Castform, Rain Castform, or Snow-cloud Castform and switch it with Sunny Castform. (Any cards attached to Sunny Castform, damage counters, Special Conditions and effects on it are now on the new Pokémon.) Shuffle Sunny Castform back into your deck. You can't use more than 1 Temperamental Weather Poké-Power each turn.
(R) Rising Sun -- Base Damage: 0 -- Search your deck for a Stadium card and put it into play. Shuffle your deck afterwards. Then, if the Defending Pokémon is Asleep or Confused, it is now Paralyzed instead.
(R)(C) Pretty Fireworks -- Base Damage: 20+ -- You may discard up to 2 Trainer cards in play that you own. This attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage if you discarded exactly 1 card, or 30 more damage if you discarded exactly 2 cards. Flip a coin for each card discarded this way. For each tails, put 2 damage counters in Sunny Castform, and 1 damage counter in 1 of your Benched Pokémon, if any.

Weakness: (W) // Resistance: None // Retreat Cost: (C)
-------------------

Sorry, I was thinking of the attack in the video game...it is Sunny Castform

Snow-Cloud Castform (W) 60 HP
Basic Pokemon

Poke-Power: Tempermental Weather: Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for Castform, Rain Castform, or Sunny Castform and switch it with Snow-Cloud Castform. (Any cards attached to Snow-Cloud Castform, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokemon.) Shuffle Snow-Cloud Castform back into your deck. You can't use more than 1 Tempermental Weather Poke-Power each turn.

(W) Freezing Wind 10 Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

(WWC) Frostbite 40 If Magnetic Storm is in play, place 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's benched Pokemon.

Weakness: (M)
Retreat Cost: (C)

Darkened Shell was meant to be activated even if Dark Kabutops is Benched..... sorry if I didn't tell that before....
