Thanks everyone for getting in touch with me. However, I really don't appreciate the fact that very few of you actually sent your info in an email. I especially want to thank the 2 people that actually did as I asked. It's now after 8:30 here. No word from Ben. However I've been online for 5 minutes or so, using up my phone line. Let's see what happens.
 
Dropping you a email with my trade with Ben right now Garret and I appreciate your help! I can't believe a fellow Canadian would do this to me......

Ok guys, I have been in touch with Ben. He called a bit later than I asked, but apparently he was out with his parents, which is the truth. I will work on this for a bit, and see what's what. Please just give me some time to see what has been done, and what can be done. I'll do what I can. Just remember though that I have a few other responsibilities as well. I will however give this a priority as best as I can, for both your sakes, and Ben's. Thanks for understanding. I sincerely hope this doesn't damage the good trading relationship that Canadians have built up over the years. Let's work together on this.

I definetly know it won't affect the trading for us Canadians as their are just as many world wide than just our country!:wink: I just want to thank you P_A for your generous help in this and hopefully in the end all will work out. For Ben's sake and reputation I really hope he did have that many mew ex's and the rest of those high price cards as IMO to have to repay all those trader would be absolutely outrageous!:eek: I will await 1 more week to see if anything arrives and post here or pm you Garret & Ben to let you know.

Alright, I think I have somewhat of a handle on some of this now. I've reviewed some of the complaints, and some evidence I've been given on both sides. This post will try to address most of what I can help out with here. Before I say anything else, I have to let everyone know that Ben's parents have become involved. Both Ben, and his parents are willing to work with me on this, and if compensation is due, I can authorize something to be done. For those who have lodged a complaint with me, I've tried to verify the details as much as possible - from what evidence was given to me by both of the parties involved. I've taken it upon myself to try to verify this as much as possible, because if Ben owes someone, then he owes them something. However if it can't be proved, with the evidence I have at hand, or certain persons don't inform me of a problem, I can't be held responsible, nor will I allow Ben to be. To be truthful, I've instructed Ben not to send anyone anything for anything owing at this time. He is to give these cards to me to be sent to those I'm convinced are honestly owed, thereby allowing you all to be certain that the cards are sent. That's why I specifically asked for proof of some kind. Just having his address is not proof enough for me, since that can be pm'd from one person to another without my knowledge. Hopefully I'm a pretty good judge of character, and can recognise when some of the emails and pm's that have been sent to me are correct, whether or not there is enough proof or not. Hopefully you all can recognise that I am a good trader, and that I'm doing this to facilitate the healing process on both sides.

Now to the matter at hand: This post will be updated as more evidence is available.

Pokemonmike: I see we've been working at this together to some degree. phone calls etc. You and I have been trading back and forth so much in our own trades. You know the situation with your cards, as has been laid out by both myself and Ben's parents. They have definitely been sent, and although it would have been nice if they had been sent expresspost, they are on their way. I'll vouch for, and guarantee their delivery if you like, due to our past trade partnership.

littleryan18: So far, from what has been posted here, I have no reason to believe your claim is accurate. Prove it to me, and we'll see what can be done.

EDIT: Sorry, obviously I forgot you sent it to me in a pm. That's precisely why I asked to have everything sent to me in an email. Thanks again for the info. I'll discuss it further later.

sceptilerancher: I've been assured they have been sent. Did you get them yet?

luigamaster: Did you send any proof to my email address yet? Ben admits he had a deal with calebjbauer to send a Flygon and Armaldo for his 5 foil energy. They've been sent. If need be, and they haven't arrived yet, I personally am willing to send those cards to make up for any error on the part of the post office, though I haven't been asked by Ben or his parents to do so. All I ask is that you (or he) are (is) honest enough to tell me truthfully whether they have arrived. If not, pm me the proper address.

Edit #3 continued: Luigamaster/Superswampert: I can hardly talk about any trade I have absolutely no knowledge of now can I? If you want any action done on your behalf, you need to email me some info.

Lord9511: So you admit you got your cards back. ......Why was that? Insufficient postage? Looks like some of this can happen to anyone. No harm no foul I say. Neither of you are out anything even if one of you backed out of the deal, so I'd say live and let live.

Kirstin: Ben admitted to me that he still needs to get 2 Steelix ex for you. Personally I think it's a case of that he traded for them on the net, and before they came to him, he already traded them away. He says he can get them this Saturday at league.

Thunderbolt: Kinda risky, but if you trust me, yes, I'll take a look. Please email it to me. Then I'll let you know, and you can then change it to something else.

From what I see, I can confirm that Ben has entered into a deal with Vegeta ss4 for 3 Mew ex. Personally I wouldn't have done that deal, but I didn't, Ben did. If I can get this trade fixed up I will, but honestly, I won't lose sleep over it.

fchangus2: Ben's been in touch with you? If so, you know the status of your trade better than I do at this point. Maybe you can fill me in.

Thunderbolt: I'm a little concerned with, "I'm never trading with Canadians again." If that's how you feel, I'm afraid you'll miss out on some good trades by some of our better traders as well. I suppose that's your choice though. I'll be honest though, I've personally been ripped more by Americans than from any other country. That doesn't change my trading habits though. Why don't you give pokemonmike a try, or granmajoner, or myself? Maybe even some of the younger ones like sdrawkcab as well? There's another side as well. Ben may yet become a great trader, but it will take some time to cross this hurdle.

Edit #3 continued: Thunderbolt: I've reminded Ben that you have a trade with him. That was one trade he didn't tell me about, so he may have forgotten about it. However, I mentioned that I saw the pms that he sent to you. I will do what I can to get you what I can.

I know I haven't gotten everyone's trades fixed up pronto, but I only have so much time to devote to this - and I already spend more time on it than I should considering all my other responsibilities. In any case I wanted you all to know, I'm doing the best I can. Thanks again.

edit #4: Looks like there are a few more traded from pokebeach, and littleryan, I've reviewed your trade as well. I've informed Ben, we'll see what happens.

I'm sorry if that offended you. Its just that with every person I traded with from Canada, they ripped me off. Well, execpt Pokemonmike.

Yes well thunderbolt How many Canadians have you been ripped by? As I stated earlier it is not just canada it is world wide people are rippers! so please don't point it all at canadians! :mad: Think about it, if you want I can send you a list of around 6 Americans that have ripped me off!!! Don't see me pointing fingers at the US for it! I honest didn't like that reply and maybe think before you speak or type.:rolleyes:

Obviously you have never traded with P_A, pokekid, pokemonpat, papazitcanada or many of the other top rate traders from here.

For your information. POKEKID was one of the people who ripped me. It was one of my first trades.

Canadians are good traders! With the exseption of Master Markez and
Steelixdude, there are plenty of Good traders. P_A, Pokemonmike, Pokemonpat, Papazit_canada, LordBrolly, SlimeyGrimey (I think he trades). We've all done our share to keep up our good reputation. Don't judge a country by the actions of one or two people. Thats like us saying all americans are as thick minded as George W.
