Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

SteveP's Decklist Program Updated for PS

I've uploaded the CL updates and BW Pokemon images to the Favorite Pokemon to the test website. I'll upload the TM and CL theme decks to the sample decks shortly.

The test site is here: http://decklist-test.pokegym.net/index.html

After a short bit of testing (a day or so), I'll request migration to production. Until then, you're welcome to use the test version.

Nice webapp steveP!
I was wondering, can't you make a separate page where people can make a list of their collection. Then when building a deck, you can see which cards are still needed. Plus the collection view could be used for trades and other purposes :)
After searching all over, i have yet to find a place where people can catalog their collection. Well, i found one...but it wasn't good.

I just looked, and everything appears to be okay. Are you using the URL previously posted, or clicking on the "Test Site" link when you first open the program?

The program through Pokygym doesn't seem to have CoL cards yet...

However, the version over at Pokebeach does have the CoL cards in the program?

The program in now updated in the production website.

FYI, no B/W cards will be added until after Regionals, even if they are already released.

I'll get them up before this weekend. I need some good scans on the 'Gym and 'Beach before I can do this.

can the programme cope with two modified formats? For the next two months we will have both MD-COL and MD-B&W as allowed formats at premiere events.

---

Something I found out when trying to overcome the issues that the USA date format causes us foreigners. You can enter dates like this 1 Apr, 1990 which makes for much less confusion this side of the Atlantic. I haven't found a way of using the dd/mm/yyyy format that is standard in the UK with the decklist creator.

I realise that the ambiguity that can occur between month and day does not affect the age group that you play in. It does however make a mess of the uploaded accounts on the OP database and can block players being able to register a player ID without the PIN.

I haven't done anything with internationalizing my program, regarding dates. Does the tournament software allow you to enter dates in any format, plus display the dates differently? I'm not sure there's much I can do to allow dd/mm/yyyy entry without forcing the user to specify that's what he's doing.

Sorry. :frown:

SteveP

Yes TOM does allow dd/mm/yyyy to be configured as its default. (and other formats too)

Dates are such a pain. If you did want to consider a change I'd suggest using three drop down lists for day, month and year.

[no need to apologise: the date issue is a minor blemish on an otherwise stupendously useful tool]

I don't know what USA registration slips look like but if you want to enhance the printout then a cut off registration slip would be nice. Though most players are able to write neatly and clearly there are a surprisingly large minority that can't.

All B&W cards to-date have been uploaded to the testsite. Everything will be migrated to the live site tomorrow night or shortly thereafter.

Here's the testsite link:

Steve,

Can you advise as to when the 'final' version of the B&W release will be up on PokeGym?

The updated version appears to be running normally on PokeBeach, but I spend more time on this site
and would prefer to interact here.

Thanks for making a phenomenal resource for all of us!

Steve does not control when the final version is posted here. He submits it to us and we load it to the site.

We need to get that done. Soon, I hope.

BW cards and info have just been added the the Decklist program. Sorry for the delay.

Sent from my HD7 using Board Express

I've updated the decklist program in the testsite to HGSS-on. Feel free to check it out to see if I've missed anything. I plan to ask the admins to update the production version on July 1. Until it's updated, you're welcome to use the testsite at:

Any chance you'll be adding the McDonald's cards in time for Nationals?
