What I don't like about there naming of Link is that they have Link and young Link. It ought to be old Link and Ling because hthe normal Link is the younger one not the old who only appeared in a few games. Also "toon" Link from the Wind Waker wasn't even link if you've played the game you'll know he was just a kid dressed up as link for his birthday.

How can you explain how I can take you any day with Shiek OR Roy, and Marth was the most broken characters in Melee?
 
EXPLANATION

Marth does 13 damage at the tip of his sword.
Roy does 13 damage at the handle of the sword.

Something to that extent.
AKA Marth is a lot better.
 
If you guys want to explain why Roy is rotting at the bottom of the Tier list while Marth sits right underneath Fox and Falco, then maybe these arguments have merit.

Roy although lacking in speed more then made up for it in power.

Roy also lacks a Tipper kill, which is what makes Marth a bit more versatile in the high tier games. Because he cannot guarantee perfect edge guarding, is a lot slower, he can't stop Falco's blaster hop, or Fox's shine spike.

Roy rots at bottom of the list because he is not Marth. Roy got cut because of this and was thus replaced with a much better and worthy character.

Not to mention Roy is also one of the worst lords in all of Fire Emblem history.

Now, anyone who has been keeping up with Brawl knows that Kefka is _not_ playable (sorry to spoil the fun for the five of you that care); however, here is what's significant about that entry: Sakurai virtually admits that he wants KEFKA to be the first Final Fantasy character in a Smash sequel!

I never expected that the creator of Smash liked Kefka as much as I do.
 
Stop the Melee tier discussions please, how many times does one need to tell you guys that? Everyone has their own opinion about Melee, and competitive players like to use whoever they like to use, and yes you might have coding proof even that Marth is better than Roy, but there is no need to be condescending OK? Just stop it altogether.

By the way, I hear Nerf is coming out with a new product. That product's name is SSBB Samus.

Actually, they improved samus' aerial game at the same time they nerfed the projectiles, she's not worse, just different.

ZSS has recovery problems apparently, she's a combo maniac though.
