Thanks Professor Birch. I think you should look all over the state every year for a good place to hold the tournamanet, and then have it at the Hyatt. Can't wait.

Problems with Room Rate
I have received PM's, emails, and phone calls that players and parents have called the "Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion" and were unable to receive the "Texas Pokemon Room Block" rate of $115.00. I called my contact and then called for the room rate. When calling, ask for the "Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion", "Texas Pokemon Room Block", and the dates of March 18th -20th. You should be able to receive our room rate.
If anyone has any other problem with this, please contact me.

I am looking for preregistration on Friday night. Those that are at the hotel or come by will be able to register then. These players will be able to sleep in on Saturday morning and receive their promo and raffle tickets at that time.

Yes, this is the same hotel that the "Texas State Championships" were held last year. And yes, this is one week after the Pokemon "Black/White Tour" comes to "Grapevine Mall".

Food Drive!
Once again players, the Texas State Pokémon Championships Tournament will sponsor a food drive to benefit the M A Food Pantry of McKinney, which serves families in all of North Texas. We welcome the opportunity to give back to our community to help and benefit the hungry.
The Food Pantry has requested dried beans and ONLY dried beans. For each pound of dried beans donated, you will receive one raffle ticket. The Food Pantry has asked that the beans be in packages of 1 or 2 pounds when possible. If we all work together, we can and will make a difference in our little corner of the world. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
Please be sure to spread the word so that all players can take part in this great opportunity. Plus - there's prizes!! Here’s the list of prizes that will be included in the drawing for donations to the Food Bank. Please note: this is a separate drawing than the tournament drawing and you do not need to donate to the Food Pantry to participate in the tournament – you will only be entered into this drawing for donations made to the Food Bank.

• McAlister’s Deli - $5
• Chili’s – 2 kid’s meals
