Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The (Asumed) Top 10 Cards We'll Miss

That is why i am hating the DP sets its becoming like YGO used to be. There is 1 broken deck and every thing else has to find a way to beat it. Before DP came out all decks from the past season was still used (except when the pokemon needed was cycled) now all delta decks are banashed from being capable of winning with todays standards. Holon was a very good combo since there was over 20 different ways you could play with them and not try to top one deck that forced enough damage. I remember 2004 Had Magma, Swampert, Blaze, Gardevoir, for top decks. FOUR different decks compared to todays top two. 2005 Had DragTrode, Trianitar, NidoQueen, Just a few and still used Blaze Gardevoir, and Magma. 2006 Entered Delta decks with Metanite and it never died till the cycled out.
Today there is nothing remembered except blazecatty (and not used much)

"There were some problems with the Diamond & pearl cards but now the topdecks are: Garchomp, eeveelutions, empoleon and gallade so there are 4 different decks which you can use so Majestic Dawn balanced the format out."

It's a little better. But you know it's a good format when even the oldest set legal is still mostly playable.
The Secret Wonders/ Mysterious Treasures is pretty much the cut off mark now for the most part.

Thank you for some one to agree with me :thumb:

Mityiana (IDK Spelling) was never a good card. i hated it since i couldn't get it to work in any deck

Oh, are we allowed to give our top 10?

1. Celio's Network (the best pokemon searcher, just about every deck runs 4)
2 TV Reporter (a key card in any energy discarding deck. It hasn't been out of format since Dragon (or earlier))
3. DRE (one of the best energy accelerating energies)
4. Scramble Energy (again, like DRE but maybe not as good)
5. Steven's Advice (one of the best draw cards ever)
6. Scott (one of the best supporter searching cards ever)
7. Dual Ball (like mentor but you can play more than 1 a turn)
8. Cessation Crystal (the ultimate pokebody/power killer. It's power has dwindled slightly with the release of pachirisu)
9. Castaway (the ultimate 3-in-1: supporter searcher, tool searcher and energy searcher)
10. Buffer Piece (an underated card, nobody seems to have noticed it means Gallade has to flip another prize)

Honourary Mentions

Delta Pokemon

They have given us some great pokemon and have given a new edge to the game (especially when we could still use the Holon Engine).

Delta Mentions

[/B]Rayquaza ex d[/B]

One of the best power-snipers ever

Flygon ex d

A great damage spreading pokemon and often a key tech in Garchomp decks

Dragonite ex d

It is highly underated, stopping rare candy, switch, warp point, all the balls. It is also a great damage spreading pokemon.

Other Mentions

Strength Charm

A PlusPower you can search for.

Holon Mentor

Search for 3 basics.

Tauros CG

Again highly underated, it acts a bit like a windstorm and a basic fetcher.

lets get real cards like DRE and Scramble are most likely going to be reprinted I would not make this list until we have a set list of Legends Awakened

Why would they be reprinted?

Their drawback was that you couldn't attach them to Ex cards.

They aren't going to be printed with the "ex rule" on them, so what would the drawback be?

THey wouldn't put a Lv. X rule, because you can use them on Lv. X's right now, so the card itself would change.

the main five cards i would miss when the rotations hits.

1. Mew*d
Tis is the #1 tech card out of all in the current format, its awesome plus its my fave pokemon

2. DRE
Powerful energy accerlation in the format...

3. Delcatty PK/ex
Best pokemon line plus I love energy manipulation...

4. Scramble
Self explainatory.

5. Cessation Crystal
Strong and powerful pokepower lockdown. Lest we forget ;p

I agree with your main list (for those who still don't know, the front page list was a calaboration [wrong spelling ], and wasn't quite how i'd do it).

-Celio is HUGE, since no-one runs exs anymore, it's Bebe with no drawback.
-TVR isn't as good as it used to be. If you want to keep your cards, POV. If you realy want to discard, well, Felicity is more usefull.
-DRE is the most used PK- card, no competition.
-Scramble was something I never really used. It was too hard to lose a prize card and then stay just behind your opponent without actualy losing.
