I am just lucky. I am mostly soul- and skillless, throw a dice for every card I want to play whether I want to or not to decide whether I'm playing it and am always amazed by what intricate strategies my opponents think up. I feel calm and at peace with myself, as I know Jigglypuff will show me the golden path of luck in the future as Jigglypuff has done in the past.

But at least Í finished my match.
 
My exams are beginning so it would be nice to play my 3rd/4th match this week. Did Badganon and Amphy finish their match already?
 
Sorry to sound a bit harsh now as I have been late with a match as well, but this is the second time Sami and Badganondorf are quite late with their match. I think a limit should be set (especially seen the 2nd BEAST is already underway) or else just make me first, Kevin second, Sami third and badganondorf fourth based on our SF and the other's placings after swiss rounds. I may sound partial in this because I would end up first but I honestly feel that this delay should not take much longer and that this would be a decent solution if Sami and badganondorf can't get to play.

I didnt lose a game in swiss pal. Me and my opp just never played and i was given the loss.

Im honestly trying to play my opponent but hes just never on. I also have exams that started this week so Im not able to play all the time..

I provide you with everything you need to play in the B.E.A.S.T. except time and initiative to make an appointment to play your opponent.

So providing deadlines is also a part of my job, as well as giving random win/loss when no results are presentet to me.

It does help to contact me and say if your opponent didn't show up to an oppointment, and like you Sami and banganondorf did in round 5, I saw both of you online for brief periods, and therefore had to do a random match outcome (with help of Lia).

Anyway, if you cannot get in touch with your opponent by MSN, send a mail with a suggested appointment.

Hey pal, please read what I am saying. I stated those rankings based on our (Kevin vs me) Semifinal, since we WERE able to play, and yours and badg based on the end of swiss rankings. I very well know that you werent able to play and that was exactly why I wrote my statement as this is the second time it happens. I have no problems with being a little late but we are now talking about several days and being it for the second time. Setting an appointment does not have to be via msn but you could pm or whatever as well, and that way you can check whether Badg has actually been online or not. That way you have prove that it's not your fault that you were not able to do the match, but without it, you're just as 'guilty' for being late as him imho.

Btw, I had exams too this week and last week as well as quite a few essays to deliver. So I think it'd be unfair that I 'sacrificed' time I needed just as well.

I hope you can see where I am coming from Sami, as I am a little irritated that we have to wait on the same match again. If you believe yourself to be completely innocent of the delay and have proof for that, then my irritation is purely for badg ofc, but oh well...just finish and win the match before friday and then play both these finals and the first round of BEAST 2 in a row ;)
 
And also send a copy of the pm or mail to me, and then I know who takes the most initative and who deserves to be awarded the win, if any.

And also making the tourney run smoothl,y creating as few problems for me as possible, greatly improves the odds of me running another online Apprentice tourney with price-support.
 
Sami wins the tournament :) G1 I figured out Onix stall wasn't the best strategy to win (ie I had a start without any hope for the game) and G2 he got his pidgeys prized, we both get setup tho but I am more in control, but then endgame his tiny little Squirtle gets my big bad Blastoise asleep...for THREE turns in a row which allows him to build up a Lugia to knock me out of the game.

If my memory does not fail me, wasn't Lia delivering the 3 DS boosters for 2nd place? If so, it might be better to deal with that next week in our Nationals :)
