The Implosible Happens

I was whatching the NFL Channel just now, and was shocked to see that the Pats had just Lost to the Dolphin. Comments...

They got pwned...

It is ironic that their first regular season in over a year came from the Dolphins, one of the worst teams for the last couple of seasons.

I will make this statement right now, As of Thursday, September 18th, 2008, I am predicting the patriots will go
16-0 and win the superbowl, mark my words

I feast off the words "I told you so." I'm so full right now.

In all seriousness, this season is playing out perfectly. The Eagles are just coasting along. Pittsburg is in a terrible division. One makes it in via wildcard and wins against a choking team.(Cowboys). One clinches home field and rides it all the way. Seems like a pretty sound formula.

Not just that... but it is the most lopsided defeat that NE has ever faced at home.

PAtr10tz gon w1n Teh SOOperBol!!!!1one

....Go Cowboys

Sorry, but anytime you lose your #1 QB for the season, it hurts. This was not an "impossible" feat by the Fins, but based on the 1st 2 weeks, it was highly improbable!

Keith

PS I am a Fins fan btw

Joey Porter backed his smack and sacked the QB twice.

FYI - the last time New England lost a regular season game? Against the Dolphins, 22 games ago.

Crazy week 3.

Guys, I am merging these NFL topics, and from now on, all NFL related posts or thread will be put here, to save board room.

Wow, Bronco games are all going to be exciting to watch this year if nothing else. Our D is as bad as our O is good! I think the AFC is wide open right now though. San Diego hasn't done a ton yet, the hierarchy from the past few years (Pittsburgh, NE, Indy) All have serious issues right now. And Jacksonville, who I thought was the dark horse and would make a serious bid at the Super Bowl, now looks exactly like a 7-9 team would. Denver, Tennessee, or Buffalo could step up and go far if they can keep momentum going. NFC is looking deep this year, it's going to be BRUTAL. Don't believe me just look at the Philly/Dallas game week 2 and the GB/Dallas game right now...this game is the true definition of a slobber knocker.

In the end, I really like the cream to rise back to the top in the AFC, and I think Indy will limp into the playoffs at 10-6 by winning 4 of their last 5, then making that wild card run to the Super Bowl we've seen so often the last few years. All the ingredients are there once Peyton stops limping around on one leg, Saturday gets the O-line turned around and Addai gets going. I think the D will figure it out once Sanders is back as well. He has a history of turning them into a championship caliber D by coming back week 11 or 12 and playing the rest of the year.

In the NFC I really, really like Philly right now. McNabb has turned the clock back to 2002 and looks awesome, and their D is perfectly suited to the pressure style they really love. Once they get their top 2 WRs back too they will be very good.

so now u think guys think the broncos r 4 real o0 yeah pats really suk couldnt even beat 1 15 dolphins hahahhaah

hahhhahahahahaahhahahaahhahahahahahahaahahahahahhaa

Laugh it up. When Chad Pennington gets his game going and Ronnie Brown becomes the next Pro Bowl starting RB, the Patriots will be eating our dust in the AFC East.

The Dolphins are still suffering from the loss of Marino. They haven't had a solid Quarterback in years. (Fiedler was far from good), they're still rebuilding their team from scratch. In a few years, Miami will be back up there taking back their glory from the incredibly overrated Patriots.

We're not the Cleveland Browns. We don't choke in critical moments and haven't sucked for all eternity.

Remember the Detroit Lions? They had what, a 15-1 year and lost in the NFC championship game the year after Barry Sanders retires, and haven't been good since?

ronnie brown is a good playr but watch chad pennington go down with an injury next week

trust me im a JEts fan thats been watching it happen 4 years and its unavoidable exspecially with the dolphins bad

o line Denver best team in the AFC

I am also going to go with the Bills, they are looking HOT right now. I did not expect them to be so good, but somehow they are.

nahhh Broncos is getting alot of ref help in every one of their games this season.

They should of lost to SD, they should of lost to NO, I dont like the foul smell thats coming out of Denver.

I never realized winning 18 out of 19 games makes you overrated....yeah come back when you don't go 1-15. Yes we lost to the dolphins, but we have our bye and we're going to rebound. If your stupid enough to dismiss the pats (and say the dolphins will replace them), then good luck to you.
