The THIRD ANNUAL "GEORGIA MARATHON"....!!!!

Five (5) Weeks From Today and the Third Annual Georgia Marathon Begins...Are You Ready....???
Are You Making Plans to Attend Some or All of Them....?? We are Expecting Large Turnouts This
Year....Even Had Rumors that "Ness" A/K/A Jason, the 2006 and 2008 Masters World Champion
May Attend Some of These Events. MANY POINTS to be Taken in Such a Short Period of Time.
10 Days in a Row of POKEMON....!!!! How Much Better Does it Get....?? Hope to See You At
Some of These Events......!!!

I'll definitely be going to at least 3 cities this year and more if work permits it. Also I would like to
welcome all players to the Alabama cities to help kick off the Georgia Marathon. Hope everyone can make it out and to have a safe trip during their travels. This year is going to be AWESOME!!!

Just heard from Carson and he has leave and wants to play Pokemon so that means all three of us will be making the trip up! We can drop him off at Fort Benning when we are done so it works out great. And I thought he would want to chase girls during his break Just shows how much fun this series is and how much we have all enjoyed it in the past.

From what I have heard we might need a few extra chairs here and there. This is going to be something else!!!

plus its just FUN. one of the most fun experiences ive had playing this game. easily the best 'small tournament'. winning an event like this is on par with winning a states in some areas (in terms of skills, and we have gotten over 40 masters- more than some states masters numbers) which is quite a feat.

TWO world champions? ridiculous! excited to see everyone there =D

I have a crazy friend with too much money, so I might actually drive all the way down from NY for about 4 of these. Very interested in the competition.

Gary,
For what it is worth I have talked to 20 people this weekend that are heading up from Florida that are doing so for the first time. So that is 20 more than we have brought in the past and that is just people I have talked to at cities this past weekend. Guess we talked it up pretty good the past couple of years. I have also heard of several people coming from up North. Tables?? Chairs??? I am going to throw my own table and a couple of chairs in the minivan for when you throw me outside...LOL.

Merry Christmas and see you next week!!!!

Jim,
Are any of them starting in Dothan, Al. ??...or waiting on Newnan and Atlanta...?? Stephen said he
was making 7 so I thought he would be at the first ones as usual...Bringing you own table and chair
may be a good idea....lol...I'm trying to make arrangements. 2 guys posted that they were coming from
N.Y....Cheryl Kidd posted yesterday that they were coming from Wisconsin...I'm expecting 75 plus
at most of the events and probably top 8 in Masters and some of the other ages...With an advertising
budget and Venues we could blow this thing out of the water....LOL...Looking forward to seeing all
of my Florida Friends...Bring it on....The ThrowDown Begins in 4 more Days....!!!!!:thumb:

I'm coming - and I live in Massachusetts. So's my little brother Henry. We just love Georgia... we've gone down twice prior to see the aquarium. But this time, we'll be playing in Newnan, Franklin, Marietta, Lawrenceville, and Kennesaw.... woot!
