Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The View From the Top: My Pokémon TCG Story

After playing rooftops a thousand and a hundred times on Guitar Hero 5, I can't stand it.

Great story from the world champion.! It's an honor to have the LA st champ as the reining worlds champ!
I look forward to you guys coming up again this year. Maybe I'll play so you can finally have a little compititon! :rolleyes:

So you can win Worlds but still haven't won a Regionals yet? I'm just saying :wink:

Just Kidding man, congrats on your win and this was a very well written and detailed article.

Congrats man. What a beedril list! >.< I never would of thought of some of that stuff! 3 :grass:? I guess
it shows how far you can come from those 30 pokemon starter decks! :smile: Enjoy the fruits of your labor,
you've earned it.

pooka should have won worlds.

no joke.
im pretty sure anybody in the midwest would agree

I'm really happy for you and I'll let you finish but pooka is one of the best players of the season :cool:

~~~
If you dont get this joke, just ignore it xDD
Nice read really, you also seem to be pretty down to earth ;)
I talked to you after worlds and I was sitting next to you for the first 3 rounds xD
I was looking around and was like "wow this guy must get the same bad luck as I do" and then I came back and you were playing the finals and I was like wth xD
Through the Weedle thing really shows a lot about the worlds format IMO, not taking anything away from you but how a coinflip made a difference between a 1/3 drop and a world champion.
Congrats again =)
I say you should be known as the "Bug" player. After all, you did play Flariados alot over the past few years, and now you main "Raybees". Another Bug deck lol. If Beedrill retires, then whats next? The Wormadam deck?
Great player, but I met him at Battle Roads today and he was sort of stubborn. I don't know, maybe I was the only one who got that impression. (BTW, he's a FL player and I met him at my local league [Sci-FI City]).
I don't usually read entire reports due to they never keep my interest. This report however was one of the most gripping,inspiring and best reports ive veer read.
First off Congrats on winning the big one. :Like i told u in San Diego: "Most of us in this area truly believed you deserved this title." One of the guys here gives you the true brass award for playing 6 every in a deck. No one i ever heard has ever did something like that before.
Your story is very touching expecially with you dad in the hospital and you play on and even when he was asked to rest he played. Its one of those true pokemon stories no one thinks can come out of real life.
Your deck idea is amazing and the luxray idea is genius. I didn't know you were in this game since the start I was at alot of WOTC evens and never remembered your name. Its funny that till i met u in Rhode Island at states one year i didn't know the name Silvestro. It wasn't till after that my friends told me your family's legacy in this game and i was like O_O wowwwww.
Ill just conclude with Congrats on worlds again and best of luck in the next season. Hoop to see u on the future scene and one day get to play you in a battle.
Please excuse this comment that was said earlier in this thread. I had a friend of mine use my account to check out random deck strategies. I'm deeply sorry for what was said. I have nothing but respect for the current world champion. I really wish that that comment was not said without any prior thought of what others were going to say. Like I said, I'm very sorry about that comment.
