Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The View From the Top: My Pokémon TCG Story

Great player, but I met him at Battle Roads today and he was sort of stubborn. I don't know, maybe I was the only one who got that impression. (BTW, he's a FL player and I met him at my local league [Sci-FI City]).

I was there as well, and Steve was nothing but smiles all day long. I'm going to have to go with you are the only one who got that impression, or at the very least, I did not. Perhaps you should go into better detail about what qualities you think make him "stubborn"?

whats the point of this article?
all it sounds like is you braging about all the tourny's youve won over the years?

Read it again. Steve was here since the begin this article is about this game made him grow as a player and as a person. As far as tournaments go it covers his highs and lows.

Great..great...great...great article. I'm not just saying that because I know you and like you, but because, of all the articles I've read on this site, this one is a true inspirational story. Why? Because it has all the elements: pathos, the "almost" that becomes the "definite," and the humility.

You've always been a good guy to me, and I hope your future in every endeavor is as filled with good times, success, and courtesy as Pokemon has been for you.

Congratulations on a great win!

lol elitism much

Needless to say, I lol'd.

I know I'm just feeding a troll with this, but I want to respond.

It's not elitism. Every game has scrubs. Was I calling anyone that? nope. I wasn't being derogatory towards anyone. It is a fact that without the scrubs this game would have alot smaller tournaments.

I'm sorry if you were offended, but if you read the whole thing and all you wanted to comment on was that I used the word scrub, that says a lot.

Steve
