1. One of a series of rows placed one above another: a stadium with four tiers of seats.
2. A rank or class.
Basically, categorizing decks in order of best (1) to worst (3 usually is the 'lowest playable' tier).

Monarchy (You'll have to excuse the American education system...it's a wonder most can read much less spell. :tongue: )

Not that big, strong but slow.
I wouldn't consider this deck as TIER :p

A deck itself isn't "tier." A tier is a level.

If a deck is tier 1, it means it is one of the best deck.
If it is tier 2, then it's one of the next best decks after tier 1.
 
All of this tier stuff is crap. Any decent deck can beat any other decent deck. Remember last year prior to worlds? OMG SHIFTRY TIER ONE BLAZIKEN TIER TWO OMG !!111 Yeah, that was totally incorrect.

But if I had to view it as tiers, these would be it...However any deck that is in any tier can beat any deck from tier 1.

Blaziken
Dark Amphy/Dark T-tar
Dark Dragonite (I don't like it, but it gets results.)

Tier 2
Vileplume ex
Zapdos ex
Blastoise ex
Monarchy
Magma

Tier 3
Muk ex variants
Jumpluff Variants
Gorebyss Variants

I am probably forgetting loads of decks here, but these things don't really matter anyways, so =/.
 
you and your blaziken wishes joner .. its tier 2 now .. yeah, i wish blaze was tier 1, but its SERIOUSLY not happening =/ .. Move Magma up to Tier 1

Ehhh, I kinda like a mix between Joner and TRUK's tier listings. Blaziken, no matter how much you deny it, TRUK, is still a good deck. If it's not tier one, then it is at the very top of tier two. Since this format is about to go crazy after the release of EX: Deoxys, and Blaziken has proved its worth time and time and time again by being the most adaptable deck, if not the best, I think it definitely is worth playing if you've got the cards.

Think about it. We've got a whole bunch of ideas coming out (and don't count out any of them just yet =/) like Ludicolo Swarm, Shiftry Swarm, Walrein/Magcargo, Salamence/ex, Dark/Crobat ex, Manectric ex, Deoxygross, and there are others too. Blaziken can adapt to almost any new change in the format, whether it be new set, new errata, whole new metagame. Doesn't matter.

TRUK, I love Magma. I play Magma, actually. But just because it beats Draggy and TTarAmphy doesn't mean it's tier one. Magma is a metagame deck at best, IMO. Somewhere near the top of tier two, but it loses to like, EVERYTHING except Draggy and TTarAmphy.

Joner, roflol about the whole Shiftry thing. I know, I got my face bashed in for saying Blaziken was tier one by Chris Fulop, and he turns around at plays it at Worlds. 2nd place? Forget what I said. =/ Blaziken is still tier 1, TRUK. Replace your Magma with Blaziken and it's juuust right.
 
Truk, I seriously don't know what you're talking about. Blaziken is so adaptable...And really what deck can't it beat besides T-tar Amphy, which DOES lose to other things as well. GO SHIFTRY!@
 
Yeah, anybody who still thinks Blaziken is near the top still probably hasn't played a single game of Pokemon in the past month. Currently, we're looking at a field primarily dominated by the presents of Tyranitar varients.

Yeah...Tyranitar variants...which get dominated by other things. Also, Dark Tyranitar will not solely defeat Blaziken, only if it has Dark Ampharos with it. When it gets up and running, it is a very good deck and almost unbeatable, but it is inconsistent to setup, in which Blaziken is almost certainly not.

I hate people who act like that. They put "Pokemon Elite" in their signature. Especially someone like you, who has no right to do that, honestly. If someone like Chris Fulop put it up, I would call it arrogant, but I wouldn't call it incorrect. Maybe yours isnt incorrect, but saying that is just =/.

Also, Martin, where the hell is my CD player. Do you plan on keeping it forever, or do you plan on ever giving it to me back in the mail? I guess not, now that worlds is in your hometown, you'll just MAYBE give it to me then because your too lazy to mail the thing, even though I've offered to pay for postage many times. WORLDS 2005 IS GONNA BE FULL OF LOVE <3

I guess the fact that my Rayzitrode beats anything consistently except decks that have a pure advantage over it, like Zap-Dos and Slaking, is totally meaningless?
