Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

TurnCruel--Underestimated Champion of next format?

The fact that it almost never happens that way is what makes it bad. If they see Lanturn, don't you think they would stop attaching to everybody trying to set up? Most of the time you'll probably get 30 on 1 or 2 of their guys. And Lanturn is too fragile to keep that up for more than 2 turns most of the time.

I will say that I think you're headed in the right direction with Deoxys though. It's a solid answer to Leafeon and Neo-Plox.
What you just described happens against the majority of decks (theres barely any energy excel next format). Ususally, lanturn gets 2 free hits on that pokemon that your attaching energy to. Thats 60 damage. Then anything else can come up and do the remaining 60-whatever and then start the combo spreading. Lanturn has 90 hp, which is good enough to surivive alot more hits then people give credit for. And do people realize that lanturn can hit for 80 damage itself?? Its not that bad of an attacker. Just a great spreader.

you know, the only deck this will win against is kingdra

To make the deck work you would have to get nrgy in the discard and absol isn't reliable enough for that. You need something to take out their first attacking pokemon so they will have stuff in the discard

I don't know what your talking about. From what I have test this deck can stand on it's own. Just like your opponent can adjust to your deck you can do the same to them.

I guess who say this will only beat Kingdra, really havent played with the deck or have no experience with it.
They say the same about Banette
:(
Anyway
This deck is going to be better Delta(Raieggs)
It can disrupt good with the spreading
Can manipulate your energy
and just is speedy.
This will be one of those decks you know about
but wont like playing agains t it.

Dude what are you talking about? The deck isnt even out and your already claiming match-ups. It can be played with Azelf X and deoxys as they dont need energy in the discard. Even if you play Lanturn that is what the water lanturn is for, incase your opponent is stubborn on discarding energy, you move it for them lol.

It is a bit like RaiEggs.

Kingdra isn't a particularly good matchup. Anyone that says "all it beats is Kingdra" is way off. It beats a fair few other things but Kingdra has a slight edge over this.

Is there anything better to play here than Tentacruel? It looks like a waste of space, and Lanturn seems like the superstar of the deck anyways...

Tentcruel actually kind of helps lanturn and add it's second attack also works with it's first.

Lugia SW would be a great addition to the deck as a tech,1.it can return damage to their hand, which dont go with the strategy, but then you can force behind energy drops and make them think where they drop their energy. 2. Lanturn moves energy around,so his second attack can do 120 when they try to sacfrice easy pokes,or when you moved all their energys around.
