Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK Nationals 2007 roll call!

Or me. For some reason they wouldn't answer my phone calls :frown:

Irwin Malek, you could at least respect Kempley's wishes by stating your name...

Yes Irwin, I stated your name deliberately for weak humour ;)

You've just done that for me (and if you look at post 1 he didn't respect his own rules lol...)

BUT if it pleases you...

My name's Irwin-Malek, or "imc".
I should be at Nats but I may not be.
Won invite in High Wycombe
But that doesn't mean I'll come.
Might go, might not, let me decide.
I guess we'll see what the weather's like =P

PM me for list.

Jeez,
If I can make it, you'd think you could make it.

Justin, really sorry about the off-topicness. I deleted a bunch of my posts, should keep the topic a lil bit neater. =)

I've received an email from TpFG asking for top five from the CC I ran. Cutting it close but it looks like they are getting around to doing something with invites.

Carl has all the information himself from High Wycombe so anyone who qualified there ought to be okay.

However its likely that we will have the same problem that we get every year with TpFG not knowing players home addresses. So I expect that there will be an appeal next week for addresses just as there has been last year and the year before. So If you know you have qualified and you can't see your name in the UK ratings then you will probably need to email carl with your address.

The other method that has been used in the past couple of years is just to turn up at Woburn and tell them on the day where you qualified. So dont be at all srprised if you don't receive an oficial invite fromTpFG. I know of at least one parent who turned up last year only to discover that she was on the list as a qualified player. Came as a complete surprise.

The problem is though we have no valid e-mail to get in touch with Carl.
Ah the email works ... it would bounce if it couldn't be delivered. Of course its a different question if any of them are ever read.

I'm sure I'll end up sending through a list of names addreses and pop ids just as I've done for the past three years. Don't laugh but I even had to put my own family individually on the list in the past. So If you are unsure you can always send me your details and I'll add them on. (because of legal issues don't send me anything if you are under the age of consent)

Hmm there could be a tiny bit of a problem with getting all the old standings. I've just used TOM 1.25 to open up my older files and found that TOM 1.25 changes the internal file structure. I hope that I've kept backups of my backups because how tiebreakers are calculated changed with TOM 1.25 The new 1.25 files can't be opened with the older 1.21 software. Blast! Hope the other TOs that used 1.21 are reading this. Make sure you open the old files with version 1.21 if you need to see the tiebreakers as they were on the day of the tournament.

I have sent Carl all the Information we gathered here on qualifiers from CC's and as Ian suggests if you think you have qualified make sure you go to Woburn.

I would tell TPfG by email you will be going give them details of who you are, where and when you qualified, your POP id number and DOB.

I hope this year with enough info Carl and TPfG will pre-register as many players as possible :D

Unfortunately myself and Shaun will definately not be there due to other commitments but good luck to everybody.

Hi I am Olliek but most people know me as Ollie!

This Year I qualified at...

Crawley cc
High Wychombe cc
Gloucester cc (make that half a qualification) I was the only one who turned up
Guildford cc
High Wychombe Regionals
Bournemouth regionals

so I make it 5 and a half lol

I really don't know why we have the farce of "qualifying" each year. Open nationals = no last minute panic from TPfG.
