The thing about the Seniors metagame is people don't tend to change decks. Me and Nich have used the same deck at every tourney, then switched at the tourney before Nationals. Without getting my hopes up too much, I reckon in
Swiss games, I could well be of a higher placing than Nich, but for the final it's simply down to staying cool under the pressure (something Nich excels in) and getting the same good:bad starting hands ratio as your opponents across the best of 3.
Oh and by the way I do know what Nich was using at his last battle road even if he was somewhat less public about it than my deck change at Crewe.
A paragraph that makes sense when Nich's deck choice is said where the blanks are
Nich's deck is a chemical element designated by the symbol Ar.
Nich's deck has atomic number 18 and is the third element in group 18 of the periodic table (noble gases).
Nich's deck is present in the Earth's atmosphere at slightly less than 1%, making it the most common noble gas on Earth. Its full outer shell makes
Nich's deck stable and resistant to bonding with other elements. Its triple point temperature of 83.8058 K is a defining fixed point in the International Temperature Scale of 1990.
Hahaha, I bet you can work it out.
Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:
It would be awesome to have a clash of the titans style series of games with the combined top 2 from each age group.
Juniors to get byes
A 1st Senior v 2nd Master
B 2nd Senior v 1st Master
C Winner of game A versus 1st Junior
D Winner of game B versus 2nd Junior
Final of winners of games C and D
LOL I know that could never happen but it's always a cool dream.
