We hope so. Ben wants to stay in Florida for a couple of weeks and play golf as well as Pokemon ;)
 
According to the OP Website, the final breakdown was 37/47/57=141. Pretty good turnout, IMO.

2004=56 (invite only)
2005=125 (invite only)
2006=175 (invite only)
2007=152 (invite only)
2008=141 (no invite)

Correct it was worse, but its about a average compared to the other years.

Hi all,

Just a quick thank you to everyone who came along to play in the UK's First Open Nationals. It was great to see/meet everyone (or everyone I could get around too!) and answer some of the questions that were brought up face to face. From our point of view as long as you guys had fun on the day, that is what counts!!

Also, and obviously, I would like to thank everyone who helped out during the day and made this one of the smoothest run Nationals the UK has seen, which was due to the Judges/Staff's very hard work from around 7am to late. So again a big thanks to you all!!

Ok also, to stop this straight away....

Are we planning a second Natioanls - No, one Nationals per Country per year.

Are we planning big events for later in the year with very very good prizes and high K Values.... Yes.

However as soon as I have finalised details, you guys will find out!

We are looking at events in possibly the 2007/08 season, but more likely next season. Again details will follow shortly.
 
Probably not a 2nd nationals though I read it somewhere on here a few months ago but probably not anymore.

Do you think UK OP will ever have Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (DS games) tournaments? Because I know USA are.
 
Lol, If I get my invite via Ratings then possibly otherwise probably not. How are you getting your invite?
