lol, funny that you went to the effort of researching it. It's more commonly known as part of Hull though - thats my point. Speaking as someone whose been living here a good 10 years as well...

TPFG wont pay for the postage. Its down to you as TO to sort out the dispatch of the prizes to their correct recipient.

My wife who lived in Hull for a long long time recons Hessle isn't Hull, her friends who are even longer time residents of Hessle are CERTAIN that Hessle is not Hull.

Lol, well as matter of fact they HAVE paid for the postage. Spoke with Carl today and its all been sorted out since as LD it's their responsibility to ensure prizes are sent out in a timely manner so that they reach the players that have rightfully won them.

As for the Hull/Hessle thing - it really is just getting pathetic now. How old are you? lol...I'm not even going to get into that.

However, the point that I'm still trying to get across is that mabye it would be more helpful to players travelling if it was described as Hull, which many people regard it as part of anyway?
 
calling it Hull means that players may go to Hull Paragon when they could get off at Hessle. Not exactly the kind of help that they'd want.

I'll have to have words with Carl over the lack of monies for shipping the prizes out. Along with promos, pins, and boosters.

and FWIW I was in Hull when you were in nappies.:D I won't even go into Hull being the North East.. I lived most of my young years close to Newcastle Upon Tyne. That definately is the North East. Hull wasn't "The South" but was definately not the NE

Do you have any idea what time the match ends?

Actually I will spend my easter in Hong Kong,
and the date of arriving gatwick....21st Apr 7am yay :clap:

Storing my luggages at the airport and get to stratford by train,
Collect them back after the tournament at the airport and go back to Swansea by NX coach
Big rest on Sunday
Be a good student again on Monday

The plan was perfect ! :thumb:


But getting there from gatwick by tube is almost 2 hours...
Oasis Airway is famous of flight delay
All staffs in immigration department are experts in passport checking, I cant imagine whether i can pass through it within an hour (in extreme cases i hv spent an hour and a half for just queueing)
I think I could arrive on time..... I hope :redface:

All plans suffer when they meet reality.. we'll keep a seat nice and warm for you at the table and hey ho .. 11am start may be the plan .. as for the reality .. well... we shall see.

Suggest you have your deck and deck list to hand and hang the rest of the luggage :D
 
Vincent it doesn't take two hours to get from Gatwick to Stratford. I live just south of Gatwick airport.. I doubt myself and family will be on a 9am or earlier train and we still expect to get there before 11am.

if so---> thats the ONLY day Chalkey has free???? Surely that wud be the one day in april most ppl DONT have free :/
 
Regrettably, yeah. But it didn't hurt us holding our States on Easter Sunday last year either - seems to be an okay date from our experience.
