I am not going to role reveal because you said so (the thought of it makes me laugh). It is pretty clear from the update what happened to me. I got beat up. Plain and simple. You are immediately going to have me lynched now? Keep in mind, the onus probandi is on you to show that I have done something wrong. I do not have to answer up to you because you said so. I'd like to know what you did last night or I will immediately throw a pie at your face (gyahaha). Such a threat is baseless and, honestly, pretty weak.
Elitism and/or high horsing is generally a scumtell or at least a dumbtell. There's no difference between you and I as a player, except that I perhaps am slightly more micro- than macro- oriented. You don't need to make any distinctions about that by bolding "you".
Twisting one's words is generally a scumtell. I asked for your actions at Night, not your roleflip.
Not being open about Night actions is scummy; Town has no reason to be afraid to reveal as upon death ALL of their claims are immediately rendered valid. Hence asking me to claim instead is fishy at least. Any FoS you place as a flipped townie is immediately taken into consideration - didn't you know that?
So, you want me to tell you what I did at night. Fine.
I used a Lucario which I picked up.
What does that do? Well, to sum it up without directly quoting:
-Single Target (including self) Protection
-It will prevent any direct action roles, most importantly kills, attacks and roleblocks.
-It does not, however, prevent any indirect roles such as rolecopping, priesting.
-It had a chance to roleblock anyone who attacked the person I selected to protect.
-It had a SEPARATE chance of beating up and bruising a person who tried to use a role on the protected person.
Yesterday you showed a rather unusual amount of condescension towards my response to DP while most others who had previously put an FoS on me retracted almost immediately.
You also seemed to take a slightly offensive stance against me.
The fact of the matter is that
you used your role on me. Okay, let's look at this through a few filters:
-Motive?
-Results?
-Alignment?
Motive?
So, why use your role on me? That's a pretty interesting question. The fact of the matter is that I have been openly targeted by malignant roles
more than any other player in the game right now. That's really sad. This night alone I believe I was targeted four times?
I'm going to take a "wild and irrational guess" here and say that more than a few people view me as a threat. To that I laugh. I'm all for taking the hits instead of the cop or priest and I reckon I flipped pretty well with that Lucario - I actually had no idea what it would do until it came out of the PokéBall and I selected myself as a target, predicting some sort of mass attack or at least Vigilante kill.
Fact of the matter is that Lucario only protects me from direct action roles. All direct action roles are malignant. I suffered no direct consequences that night - hence all roles used on me were malignant. Basically, you used a malignant role on me.
That being said, why would you use your role on me? I can understand Jason trying to dog me since he had a bit of a ragevent pre-game, but you, z-man? Your only motives for doing so seem to be dislike and discomfort.
So your motive is clearly something along the lines of Malignant Direct Action role=>I annoy you=>Try to deal with me in some way.
Alignment?
I'm almost completely cleared as either an Independent or a Townie as any sort of roleblock Kung Fu Action Jesus wolf would be horrendously overpowered and counter any forms of priesting and seering with no active actions. To add to that, I'm being constantly targeted. Logically, I were a wolf I wouldn't be hit by so many malignant roles.
In the situation that I'm an Independent I have to play by the town as of now since I have minimal sway in such a large pool of players. I'm more likely to get killed by wolves than by Town and I'd joint win with town much more easily than with wolves, so my vote would clearly be pro-Town for now.
If I'm Town then nothing needs to be said.
You, on the other hand, are pretty much in the spotlight. Malignant roles should die excluding exceptional circumstances. This early in the game there aren't many exceptional circumstances. 'nuff said.
Results?
Well, I know the name at least one person targeting me who has a malignant role. You wouldn't have gotten anything from the Night update except that you know my death flip will basically have you killed.
I have no qualms about saying that I'm perfectly 'nilla and getting lucky with the Pokémon I'm getting in random pickups.
So. Mind telling us what you tried to do to my character last night?
