You mean there are no more volunteers to help these guys? BDS and Tymon are great guys and all the judges that have volunteered are A1. They need your help to help make this this event a success and overall great time for everyone! C`mon, lets get a few more volunteers!

We submitted a new name to BDS on Thursday.

And as for GLP and his saucy comments, well since he can't make it out here to lend a hand, we'll bring the West Coast flavor to him shortly.

Hey GLBlaine and BDS, it might help to add an incentive like GLBirch did down South. Offer your staffers a free dinner at the local Steakhouse.

With all the fun we had down South, I really wish I could attend the West stadium too.

Also, don't expect William Hung to show. He said he wanted to attend the BEST Stadium (or maybe he said he had a prior engagement and couldn't attend the WEST Stadium). ;)

Well, speaking of food, if you haven't been and you like Ice Cream, Fenton's is amazing. You can have dinner there too, but I recommend skipping that and just getting one of their sundae's or a banana split that a Snorlax would find filling. Check it out, they're really unique. I know I'm going if I have to WALK all the way down College Ave.

I don't work there, own stock or anything. Just glad to see they're still there (haven't been to Cal in 10+ years). This business was founded in the 1894 nearby the present store.

Glad to hear you had fun down south Steve and it was the Best Stadium you have been to. Of course we all know the West Stadium will be the Best of the Best.




For the past month I have been working hard in tracking down some rare Pokemon cards to give away as door prizes. So I am proud to announce just a few of the Door Prizes to be given out at the WCSC.

Door Prizes

1st Edition Base Set Charizard (Green Wing)

You read right, a 1st Edition Base set Charizard. Now is your chance to own one of sought out cards in Pokemon.

1st Edition Ivy Pikachu Promo #1

This is your chance to get the very rare 1st Edition Ivy Pikachu promo #1. We all have Promo #1, but how many of them are the 1st Edition. These were printed by WOTC, but at the last minute they decided not to make the first promo card 1st Edition, and they were not sent out to Leagues. A couple of these were put in 1st Edition Jungle packs, but not many were found. It is a very valuable card, and I am happy to give it out as a door prize.

This is my official tip of the the hat and wish of luck to all going to the West Stadium Challenge.

The South has been fought, and won!!!

Now the West and the East shall rise!!!

We all know you are in great hands....let the party begin...

You do have quite a track record to contend with....

Round 1 did begin at 11:25 (11:30 was the original goal!!)

We only had one nine-minute delay due to a misreporting...

We ran 14 side events, including a draft that lasted until 2:30 a.m. for all the REAL troopers of Pokemon (25 participants in that 1337 event!)

Alright everyone only a couple more days to go till the West Stadium Challenge. We got all of our prize support in and I will say that PUI has put together some really cool items to give out in the VIP packages for this stadium.

1st Place winners get Stage 2 VIP packages, and they will be given out ON SITE - at the end of the Staduim Challenge main event!!! :thumb:

Yes, similar to what Gym Challenge winners received (except they had to go to Origins to get theirs)...

As RainbowRichards pointed it they are give to the winners of the Stadium Challenge. The 1st place winner of each age group will get it ON SITE, which in the past winners of the events like State Championships had to wait till they got to Nationals to get their VIP package. The ones for the Stadium will have some nice things like a Pokemon duffle bag that says Cal on it. It will also include some other fun items that I dont want to give way, but are worth it.

Not forgot, but was not told about them untill last week. When I was first given the prize list the VIP packages were not included on it. I will up date the list of prizes on the first post. Also so everyone knows the prizes for the 13th thur 16th place has changed also. It was listed at 5 booster packs, it is now 9 packs :eek: I will make the change on the front page also.
