Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What do you do other than Pokemon?

^
I'm gonna play it 23/7 (see what I did there?) when I get it. Until then, I have to play Halo 3 :p

I play my Xbox, Mafia 2 a lot, GTA 4, some fighting games. I hate MW2, and Halo. I also play a lot of Unreal Tournament GoTY edition.

I play Ocarina, Bari Sax, Program, and amongst other things, make music.

I also make house music. Why? Because I can.

I write music, or, at least try to write music. I play Flute, and am learning Piano and Violin. Uhh... I mostly do musical stuff. :p

Outside of Pokemon, I am an accomplished gymnastics instructor. I have a Bachelor's in Literature and I'm going to chase a Master's in either education or writing next fall.

I also rap.

I run cross country, go to school, read/write (including song writing), play guitar/bass, chill with my peeps, and wiffleball.

I'm in my Senior year of college with my major being criminal justice, i work part time as well. I'm a very active person as well, I run, lift and swim to stay in shape and I'm also very active 3 different Martial Arts made a lot of great friends doing. I'm also very social and out going.

I write a lot. I used to have a semi-successful low-time indie rap career but that never really took off. Also wrote and competed in performance poetry, but was never really into it. Still listen to a lot of indie rap, and rap in general, as well as some performance poetry though. Nowadays I write and read a lot of comic books. My career goal is eventually to be a comic book writer, so hopefully that works out. I'm also into a bit of indie rock as well.

I work for two different bookstores under the same roof, essentially. One focuses on used books, old textbooks, things like that. We even have a legit first edition Hobbit for a few thousand, if anyone is interested. The other store focuses on radical, counter culture zines and books. Books about weapons, guns, activism, riots, drugs, survivalism, stuff like that. It's probably the best job I've ever had as my boss is cool as, and it's a super laid back work environment.

I'm also really interested in social media and using the internet to connect with people and network. I'm always interested in what new social networking sites are popping up and how the internet and technology in general is advancing. I love to talk about the future of technology to no end.

Other than that, I'm into some video games, movies a ton, the aforementioned music, and I follow mixed martial arts religiously, and want to practice some BJJ when I get the extra time and all.

We had a BJJ Blackbelt move to town with his family a month ago. Alot of really cool stuff there, my ground game has become alot better working with him. But since this is Judo and not BJJ he is "techically" a white belt but it is still priceless seeing him rock other white belts and higher belts that don't know about his BJJ background. If you ever get the chance I really recommoned it, just remember to keep your hands in :)

I'll just leave this here. :p

But that doesn’t mean that young white people aren’t working hard to preserve music that has lost relevance. No, there are literally thousands of white people who are giving their all to keep old school Hip Hop alive.

Even as you read this, white people are telling other white people about the golden age of Hip Hop that they experienced in a suburban high school or through a viewing of The Wackness.

If you are good at concealing laughter and contempt, you should ask a white person about “Real Hip Hop.” They will quickly tell you about how they don’t listen to “Commercial Hip Hop” (aka music that black people actually enjoy), and that they much prefer “Classic Hip Hop.”

“I don’t listen to that commercial stuff. I’m more into the Real Hip Hop, you know? KRS One, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, De La Soul, Wu Tang, you know, The Old School.”

Calling this style of music ‘old school’ is considered an especially apt name since the majority of people who listen to it did so while attending old schools such as Dartmouth, Bard, and Williams College.

What it all comes down to is that white people are convinced that if they were alive when this music was relevant that they would have been into it. They would have been Alan Lomax or Rick Rubin. Now the best they can hope for is to impress an older black person with their knowledge.

Name on TON?

Great place.

Football, Swimming, Boxing, Auditions for Commercials, helping people out, sing and write plays, dating, and everything as a daily life jock.

I coach high school football, play lots of video games, either my 360 or when i get bored with that my ds. Interweb, school, annd thats about it. Coaching is pretty darn time consuming, much more than a high school athlete would realize.

School takes up the majority of my time, of course. In my spare time I'm playing Pokemon, surfing the net, and doing some form of art. I've been getting way into oil painting lately.
Oh, and I'm also in the Boy Scouts. Yeah, that's right. >>
