I have heard that animal crossing is just doing chores and stuff... is it really all that fun? I guess i dont know what I am missing...
Good question, is this game good anyone? It seems like it is, but could anyne here give me a reason to buy it?

It's really unlike any game I've ever played. You have so much you can do, but sometimes it's boring. It's not really fast paced, and it doesn't really require you to have quick fingers or good memory. I think what appeals to me is the ability to turn it on and play for any amount of time and still have fun. If I want to go fishing, I can go fishing. If I want to cut down trees and plant new ones, I can. Your town starts with one fruit and through trading and other events, you get more, and can grow your own orchards in your town. Collecting is a huge part of the game. There are literally 1000's of items you can collect, from furniture for your house, masks and helmets for your character, shirts for your character, fossils, fish, bugs, paintings. You can write letters to your towns people, you can go shake trees to get free money and items out of them. With the new wifi, you can even travel to other people's houses and go hang out with them.

It can get boring, especially when you need to pay off a 720,000 payment on your house, but it just offers a lot to do. Usually games just lead you down a linear path. This game, theres no path at all. Turn it on for five, for fifteen minutes, for an hour, there will always be something to do for that time.

It's not a game that you get to play the hell out of until the next big thing comes out. It's really more of a secondary game where you spend maybe an hour a day messing around in, and then do something else. It's good and theres a lot of fun things to do, just make sure you have friends or WiFi to do those things as well as something else to occupy the majority of your down time.

Dont forget if you dont save you will get a "special visitor" Though the only way to do that is to actually turn off your DS, since they disabled the soft reset....

Forget the snowman collection, I'm collecting the robo series.

I got Mr. Resetti today.
My son turned of the DS without saving.

I just started and got bees over me head for already 3 times.
And I need to adjust the clock, but I can't find that option.

btw is that recycle bin a replacement of that junkyard?

how many save files does it have? me and my sister have to share it and im just wonder cause im getting it and the wi-fi connection in a week.

It doesn't really have save files. But up to four people can live in the same house. Each player starts from scratch though. So you live in the same house as your sister.

And I need to adjust the clock, but I can't find that option.

When you first start your game, you see the little indicater/finger on your character... move it to the phone and it will give you a few options, including reseting the clock... course I am sure just like the GameCube one you can adjust the clock on the system too...

getting really annoyed by the fossils. it seems dang near everyone i dig up is one i already have... i have gone 3 days, with 3 fossils a day and only 1 went into the museum, and i actually dug up 2 of that fossil that day... dont get me wrong, fossils are nice to sell (2000-5000+ bells each) but it gets annoying when i am missing roughly half of the ones needed to complete the museum.

Found the way to adjust the clock, you have to do it before you touch your 'figure". Otherwise that function is not available.
I got stung by bees everytime, it's not nice.

Still like the game, first remodeling of the house today and a loan of 120,000 geez will take me weeks to pay for that.
I want to have a wireless internet connection so I can get some foreign fruit. Meaby in a few weeks I will have that, so I can travel worldwide. I really look forward to do that.
