Has anyone been able to catch the bees yet? If so, how did you do it. It is hard pulling your net out fast enough to net them since the game doesn't pause when you go to your suitcase.

Amazing enough(I don't have a net yet[nor a shovel, a slingshot, or an axe >_<], but I think this works) there are bees that circle trees. They are hard to find, and usually you have to listen for them. I think all you have to do then is swing your net.

Also, has anyone displayed their fish collection in their room? My house and Nook's store are being upgraded tommorow, and in my small house(I mean hut XP), I have the following fish in tanks on display:

2 Goldfish(1300 bells each, I think)
1 Popeyed Goldfish(1500 bells each?)
1 Football Fish(2500 bells)
1 Red Snapper(or something, 3000 bells)

=D They are nice additions. And fill up room. Of course, my room has the sky wallpaper and the matching cloud floor. It is SWEET!

Plus, I made a star pattern, and got lucky enough to get 3D Glasses(plus, they hide the closed eye from when you get stung). I'm styling now! =D

Thats Ok, I just caught a Stringer (something to the toon of 15,000 bells). Of course I unknowingly donated it to the Musuem (DOH!!!).

Depending on what time of year you are playing helps with fishing (I've caught every fish in season except the Colencanth, sp?). If you are in winter (Nov-Feb) you can build snowmen. If built properly each gives you an item that Nook generally buys for 8,800 bells. Fossils are also very high sellers. Fishing at night I have had better luck catching Football Fish (2,500 bells). And dont forget those money rocks (I generally earn 8,500 a day from them). Foriegn fruits sell for 500 bells each, so get them and grow them quickly. Also take native fruit to a buddies town to sell them for 500 as well. Getting the golden shovel helps. You can use it to plant money trees.

get the King Tut Wig and insurance.. their a funny combo. Insurance pays every time you get stung (well, once per day basically) and fall down (also basically once per day). Insurance cost 3,000 bells from Lyle on Saturdays, it weilds 100 bells for each of the above incidents. King Tut Wig is fairly steep. 12,000 bells steep! But it is cursed, and causes more frequent bees to fall from shaken trees and causes you to fall while running, ALOT!!! They eventually pay themselves off, with interest since they are both one time purchases (minimal 200 bells a day).

Shot down the Golden Sling Shot today.. it freaking rocks!!!

Tsk tsk tsk.......I've only had the game for 3 days(got it Saturday), and I already figured that out. You go and offer the fish to Nook to find out how much he'll pay for it. You then decline, so you don't sell it. That's how I found out about asking what the price was.

Today's Update........

My house is bigger, and Nook's is closed. I haven't yet checked to see if I have debt or not. Otherwise, I own the house for 1 day!!! =D

I have 4 people in my neighborhood...they are:
Victoria(a female[in fact the only female in my town] horse/donkey that wears a yellow mask, and has given me her picture)
Kody(a male blue bear that works out a lot, loves shells and muscles)
Chow(a male purple Panda bear that loves fishing and has a lot of foreign things)
Cube(just moved in yesterday, haven't visited their house as of yet. They are a male penguin[SWEET!!!])

So does anyone else have odd characters? I'm not fond of Chow, but otherwise the rest are cool. Only cause Chow always wants to fish. -_-

Spectreon, I only am in Winter. Amazing enough, I don't time travel. =P

Also, does the snowman shrink and eventually dissappear? He's a lot smaller, but he's still there. I built him yesterday and got the snowman dresser by mail.

Wow. Big update, hunh? =P

Recently got the game and it's awesome. I share the same room as my brother lol.

my friend got me a copy for a late hanukkah present and she gave it to me on january 1st (so yeah--i missed out on the new years celebration thingy in the game, but hey--last copy of the game within a 200 mile radius!). i dont have wireless internet, so i can't do the wifi thing unless i get the usb connector off the nintendo site (which i might do, actually). i think i have the max number of people in my neighborhood, but, one of my residents is moving (pompom, i believe), which probably means i will get a new resident tomorrow. i already paid off for my first house, so...still workin on the second expansion.
if you guy's do need more info on what nook offers on fish, furniture, bugs, etc, and how/where/when to obtain certain items, along with cool patterns you can make at the able sister's place, i know two sites that could help:
www.gamefaqs.com is obvious
and www.animalxing.com , scroll down to where it has the info on wild world, because some of their info is on the animal crossing for gamecube. hope this helps.

Wow I haven't played this game for so long. 70% of my town is foreign trees, so I guess I'll pay someone 25k if they sell the trees and give me all the salary? It takes too darn long.

OK, first off, I have the strat guide so if I was really that interested in how much I could sell the fish for, I needed it for the museum. I would have donated it either way. You cant put a price on the Golden Rod (especially since my fave gym leader is Whitney and she lives in Goldenrod..lol)

And I dont time travel all that much, with my hectic schedule I occassionally skip forward in time since I know later I wont have the time to play, on one occasion I have gone back since I missed the day, but its not like I am skipping all over time just to cheat... I spend 3-5 hours on every in-game day I play even if I play 2 days within a 24-30 hour period. I am only a day and a half ahead of the current time. Oh and I did go back 3 different times to watch new years fireworks... they were that awsome!!!

It takes 2 or 3 days to completely melt away.

Does anyone by any chance have coconuts they are willing to trade or sell? I'm looking for any amount, and will give a lot for them.

I wont sell you the coconuts, but I can give you some (not today though I am plum out). They occasionally wash up on your beach, I generally get one every week or so wash up.

Hmm......no one will spill the beans on Crazy Redd's password. -_-

Go to GameFAQs.com and look up the game. there is a whole section on Redd's Passwords that you can use. My friend had to use it the other day (accidently threw out his letter)

Two game tips

A) Log onto WiFi with your game now... If you havent already today. Free gift from Nintendo. I wont ruin the suprise of what it is, but you wont be dissapointed

B) If you mail fruits to your town folk, they generally mail you non native fruits back (except for Coconuts unfortunately)

 Yeah, i got it yesterday. Just loged on to get rid of Blanca. When i closed my gate and went back to my house I found the letter in my Mail box. Wasn't I surprised to find out who it was from. And the gift is retro cool!

Its a secret. What is the fun of spoiling Nintendo's special gift. To coin a phrase....

"You wont know unless you go"

Well, I can't.....so yeah. Oh well, maybe I can get it from a friend......

About the fruit thing, really? Nice. Now I don't have to meet up with others. =P

There was a clue in my last post FYI... Mc D's is open til 11, and I doubt it is an only today thing... could be wrong though

Another tip for all you night owls... Keep an eye out for Wishy. On the top screen occasionally you will see a shooting star. Tap the A button or yourself depending on if you are playing w/stylus when you see it. Your character will bow his head like he is praying/wishing. The next day you will get a letter from Wishy with an Item, some of which (if not all) are exclusive items in the game you can only get from him.

FYI you cant be holding a tool when you do this, and going to the menu to drop/store it will take to long...

Does anyone have a town in which Nook is giving a lot for turnips (>150 bells)? If so, I'd be willing to pay 100,000 bells to enter your town to sell mine.
