Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

World Championships COMPLETED RESULTS

Thanks so much Henry. I wish we could get that kind of reporting on all events, all day.

Congrats to all of the winners.

Ross, we were all cheering for you! Congrats for an amazing idea.

And, to all the whiners that are already starting in about the flips in the format...get a life. You do realize that, had this match been played last format, it most likely would have ended the same way....the only other way it could have ended was if Ross Start with his (I assume he only ran a 1-1 Donphan, according to things Pablo has said) 1 Phanpy and his one Donphan, with a useable energy...pretty improbable. But, even if we had the same rules from last format, David wins the toss and gets T1'ed by Donphan, it still came down to a flip...so, in all reality, there wasn't a whole lost that could have been done. It's unfortunate that is how it ended, but lets not act like its the format's fault, we all know its just how the cookie crumbles sometimes

pfffffftchpffhaha

apfhahahahaha

POKEMON HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GAME DECIDED BY COINFLIPS. Donking has been present for an age! They even nerfed rare candy to help prevent it, and all players can do is complain.

Pathetic, disgusting.

Congrats to David. Ross too, that sounds like a hilarious deck, and rogue taking top 2 is killer.

I hope by recommended you mean for both players to know the outcome. IF one player is timing the entire match without sharing the information to the opponent, that is technically considered cheating.

Excuse me? One player wearing a watch and not sharing the time on it is considered cheating?

Who got 3rd and 4th???? Did they have a match playoff? The Standings of the official site are down as of my posting :(.

Who won JR and SR division and what contry were they from

I think its great the USA won all 3 Division in the Video Game Championship

I guess its a grey area from what I've heard, but its pretty shady to be keeping track of time on your own to know when its time to start "slowing your play" down which is why I made the comment, since I abhor time pieces in top cut and I know many other people agree with me.

Its pretty unsportsmanlike to be keeping track of time to determine when to play your checkmate, imho. I think I was a little extreme in saying that, but its pretty shady.

Congrats to David and Magneboar!!!!! I played Ross and got beat tho....
Posted with Mobile style...

I said that MagneBoar was going to win nats...seems like I was a tourniment off, should've postponed my guess till worlds...it kinda makes sense though. People downplayed Yanmega and that's what ended up winning. Once that was said and done, people downplayed MagneBoar, so it makes sense.

i thought magboar had a good chance, when i wrote my article on it i said i thought that the deck to win would be something that beat reshiram and zekrom, and that's what magboar does, and all it had to do in tc, it beat reshiphlosion and then that vileplume/dragons deck
