The word stall was the wrong choice for that deck name. FlyLock is what it was.

Can you define what is "Stalling"? Because I'm not sure what it is. And how is it against the rules?
 
There's 2 things that you can call 'stalling'.

1. The good, legal kind of stalling, where you play the game at the right pace, but avoid losing prizes by sending up Pokemon that your opponent won't be able to KO, or by locking a non-attacking Pokemon of your opponent's in the active position (which is what the Flygon deck does).

2. The bad, illegal kind of stalling where you go ahead in prizes and then try to win on time by checking your opponent's discard pile 3 times a turn, take forever over Energy attachments, search your deck in slow motion after playing a Bebe . . . stuff like that.
 
What do you mean if it weren't for the disease it would be epic? It's only epic because of the disease. The joke is in the reference and the fact that the common naming practice of decks(combining parts of the pokemon's names such as DragTrode or MetaNite) produced ([Lux]RayBee[drill]s) a homonym for another, real word- rabies.

Conversely, because of the disease, it is epic.

Could also be misunderstood to sound like ****-ees. As in one who was. Just say the word and tell me it doesn't sound close.

Ok so I read every post so far I have seen these questions that were just completly ignored it got on my nerves because nobody answered them:mad:.I am also wondering these questions-

1.When are these decks coming out?

2.What is in them?

I JUST EDITED BEACAUSE I THOUGHT THAT THE WORD"HEY" NEEDED TO BE BIGGER AND BOLDER AND UNDERLINED.THIS WAS IN CAPS. FOR A REASON.

steve i didnt thik they where going to print ur name either.
but i do think that they should ask the person who deck thier making into a world champoin ship deck to name the deck,
and if it follow the guild line of pokmon. speaking i e child freindly name,
 
Why we named Crowned Tiger?

We are the person who named the deck of "Crowned Tiger".
We were constructed this deck in our team "Team Japan".
Maybe, lots of attendee of World championships remember the people who wear "Team Japan" T-Shirts.

In this year, we practiced together as a Team.
And a lots of Junior and Senior player choice similar deck.

I'm Community Leader of "Team Japan" and, Takuto is lead player of the team.
That is the reason Junior and Senior champion's deck is similar.

When we select the Deck Name, Takuto's father and I consider togather.

I assume, Luxray is kind of pancer in US. But in Japan, Luxray is Tiger.
Japanese cal Tiger as "TORA". and Luxray call "LEN-TORA".
It means, Lux-Ray is "Lux-Tiger" in Japan.
So lots of Japanese understood Luxray is Tiger.

And you know, Honchcrow is another main pokemon of Lux Box.
In Japanese, Hanchcrow is "DON-KARASU". ("KARASU" is crow in Japanese.)
Honcho is japanese, but japanese card name utilize "DON" as prefix.

We want to utilize "DON" or "CROW" for the deck name.
So we change "CROW" to "CROWN".
Finaly, we selected "Crownd Tiger" for Deck name.

Maybe, this name is un-popular for US player.
But In Japan, no one know the name "SP Toolbox" and/or "Lux Box".
Almost Japanese easy image "Crowned Tiger" is "Crow and Luxray".

If that become help to understand the reason, I'm happy.

That explains it well, and the Japenese won with it so it's cool to have the name taken from the Japenese names :thumb:

KIDS like buying stuff that other KIDS made successful.

I have little doubt that, every single year, the 1st place Junior deck will always be printed. PCI skews itself towards the Junior division on purpose. (hasn't this always been the case?)

You make a great point Bullados, because Takuto is far too old for most kids to identify with.

I cannot think of a single person in Masters who I regard as a great player, who doesn't also have an excellent record of being awesome to junior players at large events. I think that is why kids could enjoy buying the decks of Masters, they're (we're) hopefully role models.

I'm not saying kids liking stuff from other kids is invalid, I just feel it isn't as strong compared to just printing the winner's decks, trying to ignore age when possible.
