but now crack junkies like you keep on posting on fact based crap trying to boost the Xbox up.

I suggest you leave your personal life out of this....This topic is to let the thread starter know what each system is like and then you come along and say I'm a crack junkies....pretty weak bud, I don't think I could ever stoop that low.

And what do you have to back up your arguement that the PS3 is going to 'so' much better? All the facts about the 360 have been mentioned in this thread. All I've heard about the PS3, other than the Blue Tooth thing, is rumors linked to from gaming websites that make me want to steer clear of this system all together?

And PS2 was better than the XBOX?! Based on what? Power? Nope. Graphics? Can't be it. Load times? That's not it. I can't figure out your reasoning.

Games. Xbox had fewer than a dozen truely good games on the system, while PS2 had dozens upon dozens, including the PS1 stuff. Unless Xbox 360 can get MANY truely good games on the system, it will go the way of the Dreamcast.

that all comes down to personal taste tho. I would say its the other way around. I didnt really like very many PS2 games, but i loved most Xbox games. BUT as most gamers are sheep and follow the majority, you're right, 360 better come out with a more impressive library

That may be true, at least on the sheep and personal taste part. Would it be more appropriate to claim that PS2 has a more diversified game library than Xbox does, then? I haven't actually played any of these systems (much), so I'm just taking a lot of this off of various gaming magazines and online gaming sites.

I'm also somewhat surprised that the argument has turned into a one-on-one style argument, and Revolution is completely left out of it. This might be because we have no idea what to expect from this system, so we're generally leaving it alone for now. We know what Xbox 360 can do, people have it and are playing it. We can pretty easily speculate what PS3 can do. Revolution is a BIG unknown. I'm waiting to see what all 3 of the systems can do before I spend my money on one of them (if at all).

That's exactly how i'd put it :thumb:

I think what we need to do is to let this thread die. And create a new one that only contains news/reviews about each system. I'd much rather read than then people's opinions about systems that aren't even out yet

Uh... so don't read this thread. Pretty easy.

Didn't say i wouldn't read it....i'd just much rather read one with more substance. But this is all we've got so far

My point was more along the lines of, it doesn't have to die because you don't like it.

Really, those three threads would just die, except maybe the xbox one. Any major developments are likely to get their own threads, anyway. Right now, people just want to throw opinions at each other.

which is basically what people are saying they are tired of seeing.

I kinda meant just 1 thread for all three, not three seperate ones but really, there isnt enough news to keep it going anyhow

well, this thread made it 5 pages, right?? surely somebody is interested in it. by the way, i'll take a diverse game library over graphics and power any day of the week. last i checked gaming wasn't about graphics, or have we decided to change our stance on that one, too??

Who's we? Most people still seem to drool over graphics primarily, considering the way in which most video game companies are choosing to create the "next generation."

Well to further how ignorant people can be here is a reply to me about this topic...weak in my opinion and immature...time to grow up before making a *** of yourself:

calling people crack junkies is totally uncalled for in the ps3/xbox 360 talk as it really makes it kind of a downer for others to post. The topic was for people to express there thoughts about the sysatems and then you come along and bad mouth people for what they have said.....Not cool infact I would say you made a *** of yourself on that one.

I personally expressed my opinion and even said I may buy a ps3 when it comes out to see what it is all about , then you come along and call me a crack junkie!:nonono: I'm not sure if you are bringing your life problems into this or what but chill out and let people speak on the topic without making a total ***. of yourself:thumb:

Mike
I think you where right and I was making and *** of myself. None the less I was upset becuase no one even bothered to read my post which I belive summed up the whole PS3/360 opnion war. I am assuming you didn't either so here :
Ok this thread is getting redundent with PS2 and Xbox junkies debating over which systeam will be the best when really it all depends on what you want. Like politics video games are opnion based. Whatever types of games you favor depends on which systeam you like.

For example: PS2 Have epic single player games that are made for the deeper gamer. Xbox has few choices but still has one of the greatest shooter games of all time Halo. Halo is what made the systeam and is why it has been made into a bad*** multiPlayer console. Nintendo : Good for the younger generation and on ocasion the older generation with amazing games such as the wildly popular Legend of the Zelda series.

So don't debate over which is best before they even come out just wait and choose depending on what you enjoy the most. Wiether it is a epic single player game with amazing story line or a multiplayer shooter which is tons of fun just don't debate over which is better until they get here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and as far as leaving my "life" out of my post you can suck my dick. You know nothing about me so next time you would like to post somethibng send it to me first ok pal:thumb:

No problem here but personally I just voiced my opinion and like I said I may even buy a ps3 if it is goog just because it is good as personally I don't care what system it is but to say what you said is not very mature but I guess like I said you can say what ever you feel because I will not stoop to your level, time to grow up and act your age. I am a respectable trader and gamer and to say what you did is low...even lower than what you say xbow crack attics are...... grow up!!!!

And to call this a war ....all I have to say is therapy bud.........IT IS A SYSTEM TOPIC NOT A WAR!!! You can be a ps2/x/box/GCN fan as it is a preference not a war.......time to give your head a shake !

Thanks for coming out.:thumb:

by "we" i meant serious gamers. i've been playing video games for the last 17 years (since i was 4), and from personal experience, i can honestly say that games were a lot more fun 8 to 10 years ago, when graphics were limited and gameplay had to be the main focus.

i used to feel that way. but then i realized the reason games seemed funner those years ago is because we were younger, our brains less developed, so games seemed more of a challenge.

I see your point. But here's my stance on it:

Games today are great, visually and even fun. With the exception of a few, you'll beat them and thats that. Never coming back to them. I still miss and indeed, sometimes still play games from 8-10 years ago....call it nostalgic or whatever, it just seems games nowadays are made for an attention span of 3 months at most. However, during those months of gameplay, they are fun

I guess, you could consider games like Halo and KOTOR games I would come back to years from now, it just seems there are less and less with each year that I would consider all time greats
