Zappy Ex: Unbeateble?

It's always possible Dom's deck has the ultimate Dark Amphy tech, like, erm, something, Regirock ex! And this thread gives some interesting suggestions to zappy players. Altering the deck for a potential 90 damage turn 3 could be very good for getting rid of those annoying 80HP Stage 1s that sit there not being KOed and you lose.

How in the HECK do you intend on getting a friggen Regirock to work in Zapdos? First off you DON'T run fighting... he takes 3 turns to power up... by then AMPHY IS GOING TO KILL YOU -_-

I wasn't using a Zapdos deck in any of the cases.

And I wasn't talking about Amphy/TTar, that's a different case altogether.

A ZapdosEX deck won a CC in CO.

The only deck I'd hate to face with my ZapdosEX deck is ANOTHER ZapdosEX deck.

Also, I heard of a match where a player dropped a Rayquaza*, exploded his ElectrodeEX, and KO'd 3 of his opponent's ZapdosEX's for the win (I assume Desert Ruins was put into play also).

I respect the deck. I suspect some younger kids will win some States with it. But I see most 15+ players and top 14- players using Blaziken/something, Draggy, D-Ty, and some Psychic varients (Metagross/something, Gardy/something). JMO.

Many people agree on Zapdos having bad setups which is true. When it gets bad set ups first turn, thats definitely its downfall and main weakness. I really agree with Otaku stated earlier on Zapdos position in the current metagame, very valid point. But hey all decks have some way of getting bad setups including Dark Ampharos and Blaziken. If you start with Pidgey or Torchic, more than likely a Zapdos deck or whatever is gonna take advantage. Nowadays, decks including Blaze and others RELY on that turn 1 dunsparce because mainly its the only thing thats gonna save them from a lost.

Overall, Zapdos is not Tier 2, its merely the bottom of Tier 1. If you put Zapdos in Tier 2, its definitely the fastest and strongest of that category, but in Tier 1, its at the bottom because of its weaknesses to other consistent decks.
