I'm paying 25 dollars to get
1). A card case(which will prolly suck :p
2). A PR card
3). Basic Energies
and
4).Xx Lost worlds
and worst of all
5). Dead weight.............
wow i didn't know a set could be this bad.

If they seriously gave us the whole pixie trio again, this set may actually be worth going to a prerelease.

If you think about it, it kinda makes sense. They're all legends, which fits into the set name rather nicely. ^^

Well I hope so, Its the best thing that this train wreck of a set could give us other than Collector.
 
@CFOURCOLTSFAN: We don't know that there's even a PR card. Generally it's revealed by now. Also, you need to keep in mind that this set is preparing for HGSS on. It's giving new players and those that don't attend/buy often a second chance at a couple of good cards, like Ninetales and Umbreon.

@cmak37: As I stated in my post above yours, I REALLY doubt they'd reprint Mesprit.

@Victory Bell: No Collector. There's no room in the numbers for it, unless they retitled it just 'Collector' instead of 'Pokemon Collector'.

@Kayle: What if they knocked Slowking down to a rare instead of a rare holo? Or bumped Slowbro up to a rare, lol. That'd fit the space left in your list with the pixies.

Sorry, didn't see the last half of your post when I posted.

Going by that then, I can see them possibly only reprinting Azelf & Uxie. We'll see soon enough though.

I have a league full of juniors & I think even THEY will be heated when they crack 8 packs of this hot mess.

I mean, even the stage 1 and 2s are garbage. :(

I'm usually pretty optimistic when the new sets come out.

I usually type about 2 paragraphs of how a set AT LEAST has some little nuggets that add something to existing decks or deck ideas.

But...

SO FAR... from the scans that are up...

It's like someone was coming up on a deadline and went "you know what? They're just gonna get THESE and we're done." :cool:

Even I AM insanely disappointed right now.

OMG @ the lack of playablility in this set. We'd be OK if it were never even released.

Honestly... give me ANY card in this set that will make ANY existing deck any better (that we don't already have).

I'm going to get it. I've been drooling over those Japanese shiny groudon/kyogre/ho-oh/lugia promos for a while now and I collect shiny cards. I'm actually excited about this set. (mainly because i don't play though lol)
 
I didn't read the whole thread, but did anyone notice that Elm's has different wording?

Also, I'm so happy we got a pidgey reprint. Now my pidgey chain deck can have a little more variety.

Challenge accepted. Pachirisu in Raichu Prime decks. :) Mr. Mime in Gengar (Poltergeist) decks.

@Kayle: That I could believe. o_O Upper material + most cards HGSS on would make for a VERY SLOW format. >.<

@Jumpluff: In what way? Isn't it the same as the HGSS one?
 
I wish they at least chose some of the okay attackers. I mean, I would rather those starters/basics that were promos in Japan be made as promos here instead of forcing oit a set almost entirely based on them. Especially if that means we get Ursaring and Donphan again...

I REALLY wanted DCE and Collector btw because finding HGSS stuff is already getting difficult and expensive. Also there are too many cards in that set anyways.

Oh lol. My bad. For some strange reason I thought the HGSS Elm's said "search your deck for a pokemon that evolves from one of your pokemon in play."

Nah, I don't think we've had anything like that since Pokemon Breeder Field.

I think there will be a holo English-exclusive Glaceon in spot #7 and it will look like this
