Remember, Gallade will have to be manually powered up with three individual non-DREs in order to OHKO three Blisseys. He can only OHKO two if powered up via a DRE, unless Pluspowers are used. Also, Drake\'s Stadium must be absent in order for Gallade to OHKO three Blisseys without external means.
Blissey still has the disadvantage, as Gallade can wreck Blissey regardless of whether Blissey has FF or WP, but it\'s not a hopeless battle, imo.
Manually?
We still have Gardevoir in the format, who also evolves from Kirlia
Granted you take 20 damage, but if you spring it out of no where, your opponent wont be prepared for it
Drakes Stadiums doesnt need to be absent, though it would help
And whats to stop me from dropping a Lake Boundry and just flipping one prize for the kill (even if i have a DRE)?
It isnt a hopeless battle, particularly if the Blissey player is smart
But considering its the best counter I see right now (that I am going to publically mention), its worth trying
But you are just comparing Blissey Vs. Gallade. When you play Pokémon, each player has a deck, so you need to compare the decks. Blissey is a T2 deck, Gallade is a Stage 2 card, that has not been released yet. Blissey is fast, if Bliss get T2 KO, then what do you do? Candy+Gallade+Scramble? Not only that Blissey plays Cessation in some of it\'s builds, this would only matter depending on the Gallade deck, since you talk about it, how does Gallade setup?
Considering I am not going to be playing Gallade? I have no idea
I can guess it would use Garde pk or Garde ex and Altaria ex Flame Ball to setup
And considering i can just go Candy-Gallade-DRE and hit you for essentially 80 damage, I would say Gallade can run just as fast as Blissey, should the situation call for it
If Blissey gets a T2 ko, i simply smile, and send up either another one of my starters to be knocked out, or send out Gallade to kill it
Gallade will be averaging two knock outs per life span, so they are more than welcome to go all aggro on me
In fact, it could actually help me out, since, as you noted, i can then scramble for multiple KOs
Assuming Blissey gains anything close to an upper hand due to sheer speed is a massive mistake
I assure you, most people know how fast and powerful Blissey is, and are quite willing to alter their deck to make Blisseys speed run into a dead end crash
