I don't see why everyone thinks that cards that have been rotated out will be reprinted that makes no sense...since they've been rotated out. I wasn't around for Power Keepers, but did they actually rotate back in cards that were just rotated out?

IF they do reprint stuff from pre MD then they are making things really confusing for kids...

Yes that's pretty much exactly what they did with PK. It wasn't confusing then.

I dont expect that there will be any reprints older then D&P in the new set. I would not be shocked though to see some Level X lines broght back. LIke the orginal 3 starter lines from D&P along with thier X's, Dialga and Palkia and thier X's would be my best guess. Trainers I wold expect to see Roaseann's, Professor Rowan, Night Maintneance and Moonlight Stadium.

I would highly doubt to see those starter Lv X's, though of Torterra Lv X were made Modified again... holy smokes, I would be stoked. I do agree that I would not be surprised to see Dialga Lv X, Palkia Lv X, and Giratina Lv X being reprinted, as the Dialga and Palkia are seeing a reprint in promo form again shortly.

Hey guys, what if they reprint Darkrai X and Cress X to go along with those box things that people were talking about a while ago? JUST SAYING....

I hope so, then I can rebuild my Darkria X Honchcrow deck. I stopped playing it because of all of the Luxray X last year, but now with Vileplume you are seeing a lot more DialgeChomp instead of Luxchomp so I think that would be a successful deck again.

I'd love to see Claydol, even though it's pretty unlikely. Reprinting cards like Night Mantinence, Roseanne's Research realisitically would be nice though.

Please god no Claydol, areyou guys NUTS?

Think of how many decks would just die in a pit due to Claydol becoming reprinted, and think of how badly Genplume gets affected, the whole metagame to be in fact. More donks, more "Drag off Claydol", ad more teeth clnching. I for one, do NOT want that monstrocity in our metagame ever again. Roseannes? No way. I really don't want to see her either.

Let's get some nice reprints like Night Maintenence, maybe 2 new primes, andwhatever else TPCI is generous enough to kill us with. Maybe we'll get lost world. My bet? Everything in LL gets put in here that wasn't released. Quote me now

didnt the new legendary dogs have a prime border?
could they reprint the tin ones with different art and call it a prime?
it is a shiny border, and prime cards dont have prime in their names.
just a thought.
so if the set consists of shiny dogs, it would include, shiny groudon, and other cards thus making a "call of the legend"

How would Claydol being reprinted kill off decks?

Claydol makes more decks and more diverse Pokemon lines POSSIBLE because of its draw power and consistency. What decks were helped by taking Claydol out the format? What new decks are only good because there is no Claydol? One mediocre lock deck is all.

I don't necessarily want Claydol back as it is probably time to move on, but that card did nothing but good while we had it.

Same goes for Roseanne. Running a tech Basic and the Energy for it was easy with Roseanne to search it out. Now it isn't . . . so decks run less techs, or run them without consistency. Is that really a good thing? Does it make the game any better?

i have no idea what deck your playing that would actually DIE from claydol.

Claydol and Roseanne would be great for the format without question, but I highly doubt they'll reprint any of them since they've got nothing to do with HG/SS.

Personally, I'd like to get some "neutral" cards back, like Castaway or Scramble Energy. Heck, even DRE would make the format better right now. =)

And I think they reprint Call Energy. Doesn't matter for the format right now, but it's good for the future. The set is named Call of Legends, and there has to be a reason why hey didn't print Call Energy as a league promo, since this was a quite obvious hard-to-get-tournament-card everyone wants.

If they are going to reprint cards that are not currently playable or just recently rotated, they need to reprint cards that will really have an impact on the format.

Bring back Scramble and Boost energy. They can't be put on SPs because they are all basic, and will allow decks to perhaps come back into the fight after a turn 1 or turn 2 knock out.

Boost would be nice.

Scramble I've always thought was terribly overpowered. If it were 2 Rainbow instead of 3, it'd be more balanced.

I'm finding Rescue Energy helps in that department.
It's the perfect 2nd energy to be able to execute Machamp Hurricane Punch, so while you're building up your Machamp, attach Rescue to Machop or Machoke so if it gets KO'd you don't have to search out replacements.
