Well, we've already had a Banette ex. And I mean, Phoebe really only has 3 Pokemon. Not sure why they couldn't have done a Shuppet ex, or something - that would have some potential.

We already had a Salamence ex, Flygon ex and Walrein ex. I don't see why they couldn't have made another Banette or Dusclops ex.
 
Another Banette ex would have been nice, making the deck even better is always a good idea ;)
 
Well that only leaves one possible explanation. Power Keepers is sexist!

Ever since they stopped boxtoppers with CG, there hasn't been a secret rare. There probably won't be one here, either.
 
Jake; sets should be defined by impact cards.
I think we have a number:
1) Steven's
2) Blaziken
3) Slaking
4) Wobbuffett
5) Shiftry ex
6) Absol ex/Skarmory MAYBE

These are just off the top of my head. I am sure the top 4 are going to see major play pretty much immediatly. And 4 immediatly impacting cards is not realy BAD right off the bat.

first of all, steven's, blaziken, slaking, and wobbufett do not count, because they're reprints.
Secondly, I am appauled by #6. Skarmory is INFINITELY better than Absol. Absol isn't even remotely good.

Absol is good only because it's mentorable. I don't think it's great, but I think it's going to see some play in certain decks where the ability to move damage could be game breaking (i.e. see Flygon).

Actually, I just thought of something. This will probably sound stupid but here it goes anyway.
Since there haven't been any secet rares in a while, maybe they will bring them this set? I know Pokebeach have a full set list, but does that actually include secret rares? If there are secret rares that we don't know about yet, maybe it will include an Alakazam line?
I'm probably wrong, so you may want to ignore thi post.
