Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

How to beat the Deck above you...

Um how do you plan on Restructuring if he has glaceon active? Also, Glaceon is in no way shape or form a T1 deck. while it could potentially have a power lock T1 it really isn't a T1 deck as it isn't set up ready to go or anything. The power lock it can provide is going to make things difficult for you in the long run though

WARP POINT + Cyclone Energy. You warp OUT Glaceon X.. hit it while on the bench. Cosmic power after warp or cyclone .. then Restructure (unless you like who they warped.

Well you didn't mention that as a part of your strategy so I decided it was within my rights to disregard it. I also would like to point out that I don't know how reliable that strategy necessarily is considering the fact that you dont have any way to search out warps or cyclones and as I said your opponent is likely to have a power lock on T2 or T3 you won't have a consistent, reliable way to draw them either. Also, if you have to attach a cyclone you won't reliably be able to get their Glaceon out of the active spot AND hit it. Then, on their next turn, the Glaceon player would be able to easily retreat, warp/switch back and continue a lock comboed with their own spread damage.

Above deck: Rapidash / Heatran X / Palkia X
Counter: Froslass/Gengar/Uxie/Manetric

Strategy: Froslass puts 60 on Rapidash T2, Then use Uxie to clean up since it won't suffer from burn, and will go back into your deck for further use. Gengar takes out Heatran, and Palkia in 2 hits each. Manetric stops bench Pokemon from getting hit by Rapidash

Deck above: Froslass, Gengar, Uxie Manectric,
Counter: Torterra DP, SF with Sceptile, uxie and Unown G

Use Torterra DP to heal any damage caused by spread from froslass and manectric, your big hp will give them problems to ko you. Unown G protects against the 60 snipe attack from gengar to your claydol and other support pokemon. Torterra lvx will switch out pokemon to protect yourself against the flippy power of Gengar, if you haven't got torterra lvx out, you could always use a leftover uxie to kill the gengar.

deck above is Froslass, Gengar, Uxie, Matectric ^^^ <== interesting!

Counter = Bibarel w/ Staramie tech (i love doing that.. LOL!)

Strategy = LOL@ me posting one deck and giving a strategy for another ... lol ... uh .. yeah.. bibarel FTW !

Deck above is Bibarel w/ Starmie
Counter is Leafeon Electivire.

Resistance + Leafeon's high damage with Vire means you can tear right through them.

^^ deck above is Leafeon Electivire ^^^ <== interesting duo...

Counter = T2 Houdoom LA

T2 Houdoom. You'll need a big bench for that and I'll be doing 100 per turn with super small bench size (claydol and backup houndoom). KO every other turn. Leaf forcing is no good, because you'll need to keep the leafeon around long enough...

Deck above is T2 Houndoom

Counter: Neo Speed Empoleon

It is the new Speed Empoleon. It has enough speed to keep up with the dog. Not to mention that the penguin hits for weakness

Deck above is Empoleon
Counter is Leafeon Electivire

Resistance or hitting weakness combined with Empoleon's low damage makes this an easy win.

^^^Deck above is Leafeon Electivire.^^^

Counter: Mesprit/Electrode SW/Electivire/Claydol

Strategy: I block your Powers & therefore your setup -> blow up 3-4 Electrode in your face -> Electivire follows up in addition to keeping Electrodes going.

The deck above is Mesprit/Electrode SW/Electivire/Claydol.

The Counter Deck is Lucario(LA) w/ Bronzong (MD) tech

Strategy: Use Lucario's Spike Lariat to abuse weakness. Spike Lariat 1-hits Electrode even if it has no damage on it (and, with the Bronzong in play, could probably 1-hit nearly anything with a power and without Fighting Resistance.) As for Electivire, both versions have a power, meaning Bronzong hits it to make Spike Lariat hit for full power. With Weakness, that's a 1-hit KO. And, Electivire Lvl X doesn't even need to already have damage on it to 1-hit it, because of weakness.

Note: The first Lucario would probably only use Focus Blast, doing 50 damage to the active pokemon and adding damage to the opposing Claydol to make it even shorter-lived. This should give a second Lucario time to get enough energy to set up Spike Lariat.

^^^ deck above it Lucario (LA) w/ Bronzong MD ^^^ <== love that!

counter = Skunktank SF w/ Unown G and Broken Time Space stadium --Eggecutor LA (psychic) starter

Strategy = use mostly trainers to run through hand and psychic balance. Energyless attack gives you time to load Skuntank on bench. Keep attacking and and retreating skuntanks to avoid damage (evolutionary gas). It would be insanely frustrating to the opponent.

Deck above is Skuntank/Exeggutor

Counter: Glaceon Lockdown and Rampardos

Destroy Skuntank with Rampardos, and locking Evolutionary gas. (I have tested this and it has worked)

Deck above is Glaceon Rampardos
Counter is Salamence.

Use Salamence to kill while laughing at the deck's low damage.

Deck above is GlaceonX/Rampardos

Counter: Dialga G LV.X, Leafeon LV.X, and Metgross

Strat:
Dialga G LV.X counters both Glaceon's and Rampardo's Bodys, which take it from a plausible deck to an feeble red face paint. Metagross Manipulates their pokemon, and can 1HKO Glaceon. Leafeon handles Rampardos with weakness, and speeds up an otherwis hoplessly slow deck.

Deck above is Dialga G/Leafeon/Metagross

Counter: Glaceon Lv.X/Rapidash

Score weakness on all 3, as well as lock Leafeon and Metagross powers

Deck above is Glaceon Rapidash
Counter is Salamence.

Use Salamence to kill while laughing at the deck's low damage.
