LM Gengar deck

hey Thunderbolt, i think that you can play with 12 energies prox. cause you just need 2 energies in every gengar and you don't have to use a starter cause that male you need an energy for the set up, Put Great Ball and add some pows and you can play too with a slower gengar line(3/2/3 is cool too and you use farmer/retriever that can help you to have cards to put like more trainers)

I like the 4/3/4 line better. But there is no room for POW! in here. Instead of Great Ball, I was thinking of using Rulemasters advice and put in Holon Mentor and Transciever.

i'm wondering how you start the game consistantly tho...i mean, you don't really want a gastly or pidgey as active...

Actually thats exactly what you want. Gastly active gives you a better chance of the fastest Gengar possible. Same with Pidgey. Why waste a turn with Plusle CFF two get two basics retreat and then have Gastly active anyway. Also what tech would you add... That didn't help much.

Personally I'd run it off of this build
4/3/4 Gengar
3/2/3 Pidgeot

4 Great Ball
4 Celio's Network
4 Rare Candy

4 React
7 Psychic
2 Holon (Save React)
1 Scramble

If you want Plusle go -4 Great Ball -1/1/1 Pidgeot plus 4 Plusle

umm, Nidoran is the starter :/... Ya I would say find a starter
we quit talking about queendom...and we clarified that. a good starter is either plusle or jirachi. either jirachi.

It does not need a starter with the holon engine 4 tranciever 2-3 mentor 1 scientist 1 farmer and max on ceilo and candy would be wise

ok this deck needs a STARTER I run this deck and before I put a starter in hear I would alwayls lose a gastly or pidgey early game which is unnecceptable. Thunderbolt take a look at my deck list that I use:
This is "Last Laugh"

Pokemon
4 Gastly LM
2 Haunter RG
4 Gengar LM
1 Gengar ex
2 Pidgey
2 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot
4 plusle

Trainers
4 Giant Stump
4 Rare Candy
4 Curse Powder
2 ATM Rock
1 Pokemon Retriever
3 Celio's
3 TV Reporter
4 Copycat

Energy
4 React Energy
10 Psychic

Basic strategy: use the Gengar to spread damage and if you kill him when he has a curse powder on him then you take 60. After a while you start rocking them. after all the damage and the opponent thinks hes won, Gengar ex will appear through the the smoke and prize count you to death

this deck list is very consistant for me and ever since I put in a starter I've gone undefeated.

Play 2 plusle, 1 multi energy, 1 ancient ruins, 3 stump, 2-3 retriever, and 1 holon farmer. And don`t be afraid to squeeze a few trainers like warp point and crystal shard in. Pidgeot is there to search for you.

I already have a starter, and that's Jirachi DX. 4 of them. I want to post my new list but Rulemaster made it especially for me. I don't want people copying his list.

Gengar is proving to be a nice up and coming control deck. Only problem I have observed with this deck is the total attacking power of Gengar and Pidgeot doesn't seem to be enough to get the job done against some decks. It could possibly use a third hitter, what that is I have no idea.

I've never been comfortable playing less than 10 or 11 basics. You start too deep in the hole if you give your opponent to many cards at the start if you have to mulligan 2 or 3 or more times at the start.

why Jirachi?
hes only good if you swoop him and thats 4 swoops and 4 jirachi. thats 8 cards you have to fit into your deck now.
and if you have a new decklist and won't show it to us, than I gues our work hear is done and you don't need our advice. how can we help what we can't see?

The better question is: Why not Jirachi. Why would you use Plusle? And sice Psy Master won't stop crying, then i'll my his list:

x2 Pidgey
x1 Pidgeotto
x2 Pidgeot

Trainers <26>

[*]u get a thumbs down for that list

[*]where your 2-4 Swoops if u have jirachi

[*]u need 3 curse and 2 ATM

[*]there no need for 4 Double rainbows the main put is puttin damage counter so DRE should be 2 and 1+ heal

[*]Run Fieldworker/Steven advice ova our two copycats

[*]There no need for Protective Orb

[*]and Farmer is better then pkmn ret.

=/
And I should listen to what you say? Have you even tried out both list to see which one is better? Do you even listen to what you say? Your changes are horrible too. You listen to what other people say like don't use Protective Orb, you need 3 Curse Powder, OH NO! HE HAS ONLY ONE ATM ROCK!!!

Don't go making changes to other peoples list if you can't even back it up.

What is that telling me?

Can you give me a reason why?
