I will potentially be addressing a lot of skewed comments in a forthcoming video, as I don't wish to compromise my examination study by continually responding to individual comments over time. This is with regards to WPM mainly.
I'll have you know that a few of the things that
Immewnity has said are paraphrased and not indicative of what I've have entirely said, nor exactly at that. I have expressed that I did not wish for him to speak on my behalf except to only let you know that:
- I mentioned nothing about EXs, this was just pure speculation after the release of 'Dragons Exalted' images.
- The Dragon Tins were worded as per the email sent to me, hence I referred to it in this way subsequently. This does not necessarily suggest they will be 'Dragon Tins', and instead may just be labelled as 'Fall 2012 Legendary/Dragon EX Tins', or something along the lines.
- I had no intention of breaking any embargo maliciously, as I've worked with plenty of embargoes before and continue to do so. My connection at TPCi already knows this, and already responded with the fact that they are happy with the positive feedback.
- I was to be receiving the artwork to the decks yesterday, but due to miscommunication, these will be sent at a later date.
- I am no 'Partner', I am 'sponsored' and as such there is an element of affiliation, with associated promotion, merchandising, and marketing. This is mainly with regards to suppliers
down under, and the only ever 'affiliated' resource I've received from
TPCi pertains to Dragons Exalted/Tins. Nothing more. Keeping in mind that I only got in touch with them directly since April. No sooner than that. Prior to that, everything came from my association with Banter Toys & Collectibles and still does in major part.
My words to WPM at this very moment are to tread very carefully with your wordings and accusations. You've used the word 'Partnership(s)' far too often for my liking, when it's something I haven't mentioned in that way. There's also many more branches of Nintendo which don't just exist in America, and my only connection outside of Australasia is my aforementioned connection at TPCi (keyword: connection, and not 'official partner'). I use the word 'official' when I'm releasing official news from the respective dedicated sources and isn't to be mistaken for 'official medium', even though I am receiving/unveiling 'official' news.
Lastly, my
radio interview was to do with marketing and promotion of
Pokemon The Movie: Black & White down under! This was an interview that was set up by
Magna Home Entertainment (the official supplier of the anime down under), and
Hoyts Cinemas (the distributor of the movie down under), and Banter (the official distributor of the cards down under). I also gave out many double movie passes to the event, which I was provided directly through these associations, and these were given away particularly through my channel and peripherals. I don't know why you are skewing a video (originally posted on February 12th) which I re-posted yesterday, when in fact I was not in touch with TPCi until April! And even before then I was releasing exclusives through Banter and my affiliation with them. A lot of this movie promotion occured around early February and my YouTube videos more than prove this. I also have reliable contacts at these companies and I am more than confident that they can vouch for our association with them, enthusiasm on promoting an awesome franchise, and the professionalism that we publicly exhibit. This is a reason why your words have now struck a nerve and I can no longer ignore such false/incorrect comments.
To ExoByte: I appreciate your response. I wish to pleasantly discuss a lot of this issue with you further if you are keen to, as I believe there's definitely been a lot of miscommunication. Also, because you do work at TPCi, though I am at no liberty to share (and subsequently am reluctant due to confidentiality, and making sure I work in the best interests of TPCi), I suppose I would have no problem in sharing my email correspondence with [what I presume to be] a colleague of yours, whom you may know/do work with. I know this colleague through my affiliation with a company down under and have been in touch with him directly since April, as mentioned above. There's a lot in that correspondence which echoes anything
but malicious behaviour, but I don't wish to distribute this to the public and out of respect for TPCi and my connection. This also means that I won't be addressing this email directly in the aforementioned video I plan to release at some point in due course.
I'm not one to act unprofessionally and I ensured that I was working towards TPCi's best interests, as I have done for many of our associated companies in Australasia. However, I admit that after seeing your post, I was a bit astonished. I presume that you may not be aware of the situation, unless there's something else occuring, and as such, I wish to address some heavily skewed comments which I can no longer accept looking at. I will explain further to you shortly and privately, if you would allow me to
'PokeCollection' is by no means aiming to mislead people, nor disrespect any of our affiliates/associations/sponsors, and most definitely we will never be pleased with ourselves if we were to lie to our followers. I cannot emphasise how genuinely surprised I am by some comments, particularly when we literally did not have any malicious intention. I hope that you can respect this, and I've already expressed this with my connection at TPCi, and also our friends at Banter.
