I still want to play Feraligatr ex. Maybe even Medicham ex AND Feraligatr ex, like how people were doing Medicham and Muk.

Or Politoed!

Or something that is water!

I am glad Steven stays. But, ATM Rock and Desert Ruins must DIE!!!!

I guess for now on, we can trust what an official says unofficially, if they choose to unofficially say something that will be officially official in the future. Who knows...

And for those who are wondering why it is HL on, I think that it is due to us getting 4 new sets, and then us having to rotate out 4 sets. Therefore, I think it will be Emerald on for next year, due to this newly created pattern.
 
im guessing TVR is coming back just bc it was in the jp QCP's. We'll get it by worlds just dont know exactly when =/
 
The only 3 cards in HL that matter, and wether it's good that they're staying:

STEVENS ADVICE - Good. This is the best straight draw card ever. I'm glad I got 4 when people thought they were going to get rotated out.

DESERT RUINS - Meh. This is the simplest counter to EX decks, but not the best one that exists. This one card can't stop the fury that is Feraligator-ex. :biggrin:

ATM ROCK - Bad. This is the only card I absolutelly LOATHE. This+Cradilly(EF)=new Rock-Lock.


That's it. The only 3 cards in HL that make any difference to the format. But it is a huge difference if you notice. Feel free to give your own feelings/thoughts on how these cards effect the environment.

I still am going to try and play Feraligatr ex. It does 210 damage with just two hits! Even though it *might* take three turns to get out, it still is pretty powerful. I am sure that when someone wins some big tourny with it, everyone will try to hunt them down. People said the same thing about Medicham and all of the Emerald EXs on how they sucked, but look where we are right now.

No, there are not two Modifieds.

EX Ruby and Sapphire to EX Emerald will be the only Modified allowed until Worlds.
EX Hidden Legends to the most recent set will take into affect AFTER Worlds, it is not in affect right now.

Uhhhh...read again: "Modified" after Worlds 2005 will depend upon where one lives/plays...France, Portugal, Brazil and Spain will be RS-on; the rest of the world (except Japan of course) will be HL-on. Worlds 2006 will be HL-on.

:p I misread the the announcement.I thought it said POP was supporting RS-on and HL-on in the USA in Setember but i see now that the RS-on format only applies to some countries outside the USA.

Also I can't believe you saw the post within a minute or 2 of me posting it before I deleted it. lol
 
Has anyone considered the Castform family? They use Low Pressure System and High Pressure System. Reprinted in Unseen Forces for Elekid?

What about Gorrebyss? Later on in time, that will matter in the format.
 
POP finally bit the bulltet and dropped aqua magma. EEEK, :eek: that will hurt zappy a little without the awesome skills of duel ball but it will prosper and survive :biggrin: Its just great that everyone knows what will be the change come september and what to expect.
 
I think the reason some of us thought that it was HL-on was the ATMs.Why print Milo ex if there wouldn't be any

I wonder why nobody has mentioned yet that Pokemon Center is in New Modified, and will OWN. It is Black Star Promo #40. Lucky Stadium and Pokemon Tower are there too, being promos #41 and #42. Everyone is overlooking Pokemon Center.

EDIT: Because it's Nintendo promos, that's why. Oh well.
