I made a fake game/pokedex once, if I remember correctly the following got evolutions:
Absol
Skarmory
Sandslash
Ninetales
Golduck
Dugtrio
Lunatone and Solrock, and then their evolutions both evolved into the same stage 2.
Eevee (3 new evolutions in addition to the current 5)
Tyrogue (got a 4th evolution, which was named Hitmonnorris...no affiliation with Pokepop's more current remarks)
Porygon2
Either Murkrow or Pinsir, don't remember which
Ditto
Smeargle

The following got babies:
Absol
Chansey (And guess who gets one in D/P...=/)
Doduo
Onix
Relicanth

And then I made two new additions to the Plusle/Minun family...Multiplication and Division, of course.

So eh, I wouldn't mind some of those guys getting babies or evolutions.
 
Well, Serebii.net and pokebeach have clarified some of the info on the new safari zone/Pal Park. Like I assumed, you can transfer 6 pkmn from each of your gamepaks per day, the bad thing is (if you consider it a bad thing), once you transfer your pkmn to D/P you will not be able to transfer them back to their original games. Also the park balls have a 100% capture rating, so the only thing left to do will be to find them first. The rarer the pkmn, then harder it is to find, but we all know that. In a way it makes things easier to know that the park balls work as well as master balls (possibly), but the searching part kinda sucks to me. I guess we have to see how this all works out. Stay tuned...

hmm, just went to www.serebii.net and, like many people have been, I got something odd. But what I got, was...oddly enough...a picture of the PokeGym user bangiras.
Now, normally I'd say we've found our hacker, but bangiras? Must be a coincidence. I dunno where the picture's from tho, it doesn't have a PokeGym logo...does look like it was cropped from a bigger photo though.

wow absol? skarmory would be incredible lol, and well sandslash would be one of those giant lazy 2nd stages, treezequeu (thirteen tails in french lol for ninetails), what would golduck's evo look like ...i realy can't picture it, same for dugtrio an eclipse lunarock/soltone would be cool but then again you enter digimon's DNA evolution concept, please eevee was a failure from the start no more, never again. and i don't get the tyrogue thing but w.e, porygon 3 that's what everyone wants. to go with the skarmory evo would be a good murkrow evo, ditto? (SUPER TRANSFORM!!!!) smeargle would be ok.
now an absol prevo isen't ok it sounds and probably looks bad, doduo? onix? and relicanth is actualy a good idea...
 
Personally, I think that some of our current pkmn would not get another evolution added into the line. I understand that there are some pokemon that might need to be upgraded (Miltank, Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, etc.) but I don't think everyone of them needs an evolution. I think Lapras is fine, even though its not as strong as some would want it too be, its still a good pokemon..

Im not sure about Golduck, but dugtrio's evolution was named Dugquad-naturally, it had 4 heads. What do you mean by DNA evolution? I never played Digimon. And personally, you are flat out wrong about eevee. I don't mean I think you're wrong, I mean you are wrong. Eevee was not a "failure", it and its evolutions are some of the most popular Pokemon.
And an Absol preevo is a fine idea. I can see how you might not be able to picture it, though. As for doduo, its baby has one head. As for onix, its baby is smaller (the idea actually came from Pablo).
 
We have a huge update and a number of pokemon which have been revealed recently through Coro coro magazine and supplied to us byserebii.net. First off are the pre-evolutions of Chansey, which was revealed a week ago and of Roselia. I was kinda surprised to see that a R/S pkmn would have its evolution line so quickly completed, since there has been much of a focus to complete the evolution chains of the old LG/FR pkmn. Then we finally get a good composite of Korobooshi, which is that pokemon revealed a while back but that we only had a screen cap of from the D/P tour in japan. Now among the notable new pokemon I have to say that I like the dinosaur pkmn (Zugiadosu and Tatetopusu), they actually look like they have potential and could evolve into great pkmn. Im not liking the grass and bug types (Minomucchi and Masukippa), they look ridiculous, worse than Sudowoodo in my opinion. The cool thing about Masukippa is that it has the ability levitate, which is nice not having to worry about ground moves like Mud slap and Mud shot which dont do much damage but are mainly used to cause disruption.
We also have 2 new pokeballs added to the list: the dark and health balls. The health ball fully heals pkmn that are captured using the ball. The dark ball helps improve the odds of catch a pkmn in dark areas (caves, tunnels, etc.).
In terms of the Advanced Gen. series, as expected Ash returns with a new crew, although not fully confirmed, Ash apparently meets up with the female protagonist from D/P and also a new male trainer. Not much else is known, so stay tuned the new D/P episodes are coming soon in Japan.

Subomi? You've gotta be kidding me. That thing is PATHETIC. I'd have to say it's even more pathetic than the Chansey Pre-Evo.
Bippa has got to be the funniest thing I have ever seen, and is now a close second behind Dorapion for my favorite D/P Pokemon revealed so far.
I rather enjoy Pinpuku's new picture, it's a LOT less pathetic than the previous one.
Sugaidosu and Tatetopusu...WOW. Finally something GOOD coming out of a fossil.
Minomucchi, once again, pathetic. I'm actually kinda surprised tho, it has the same clasification as Foretress, you'd think it might evolve into Pineco...=/
Masukippa is hilarious.
How exactly is Korobooshi a Grasshopper? Still looks like a martian in a snowjacket to me.
Mukkuru's nose ruined it =(
Parukia's type really surprises me, I woulda guessed Psychic before Water. I guess they just went by some sort of "Diamonds are like Steel and Pearls are found in the water!" logic...
Health and Dark balls are cool looking.
And Ash getting Naetoru really doesn't surprise me at all...after all, he got Treecko in AG. And hmm, once again, the female character gets the bird Pokemon...

Bleh. Lots of info, lots of comments.

They never said it being a pre evo of pineco, other wise they would say it. I do think that both paruka and diaruga have one weakness if you didnt notice. Paruka is weak to dragon and diaruga is weak to well.... actually ground and fighting but not bad weaknesses :cool:
 
Yup, well we all can agree on one thing...some of these pkmn do look weird...but I guess thats a theme that seems to follow from previous pkmn like Wobbuffet, Sudowoodo, Jynx...etc. Full page scans can be found on the beach, couldnt see them before because the site wasn't opening up well.

Nintendo unveiled more of the WII recently and along with the official price and release date we also got a nice look at the new PKMN game for the system. PKMN Battle Revolution is said to be a launch title to the WII and will be similiar to Colosseum and XD in a sense, but it looks like a major improvement so far, so we can just only hope to see if it meets up to it's expectations. If you would like to view the video check it out at theWII preview page.
There is also a legend of zelda video if you are interested in the top, so enjoy.

uh, nowhere does it say that battle revolution is a launch title. think about it: revolution coming out like, only 3 months after diamond/pearl come out in japan?

i dunno. i guess it's possible for japan, but definately not america, considering we get the wii on november 19th, before diamond and pearl come out.

I believe what he means is that it's a launch title in Japan.
My friend, who's usually very credible when it comes to information that he reads and passes along to me, said that Battle Revolution will be a Release Title in Japan, and he is GUESSING it'll be around D/P's release in the US.
 
read IGN, Battle Revolution is listed for December 2006 in Japan, thats the official release date. No word on US version either, expect it in June/July.
 
i just checked, and yeah, it is a launch title in japan.
as for america...i'd say maybe in...may 2007. a few months after d/p is released. but it still seems a little too early. june perhaps?
 
Hey everyone,

Just I'd add a little info on D/P front. First, 2 ads for the new games have been released recently in Nintendo's Touch DS site, which is essentially Japan's official DS site. Anyway, the ad's look kinda neat starting out with some nice look at the starters in 3D and then we get to look at some game animation. The train and windmill scenes look great and makes me wonder what else can we expect in these new games. Without further delays, check out the D/P commericals! Note that you need to click on the links on the bottom of the little screen and both videos are numbered 1 and 2 within the link.
I'd also like to give you guys alittle be of a taste on the what new starters sound like, well in the games to be exact. Check the pokemon kids website in Japan, here you can find some info on the game (well if you can read it that is), but they also upload some nice vids like this one! The fire starter sounds kinda funny, but the others I like. All in all, not a bad day.

Hey guys....so magazine scans popped up recently giving us a look at what the new gym leaders look like. Pokebeach.com has posted up those scans, so check them out. I hope we get a really cool Dark type gym leader, since none have been created yet.
