We did an Unlimited tourney last year at Regionals because players told us they were REALLY interested in an Unlimited tournament. We were all excited and expected as many as 40 or 50 players. We even got a Nintendo DS as the top prize,. Then it came time to run the tournament. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT - 12 players signed up. We didn't even cover the cost of the DS.

I'm not sure we're interested in trying that again this year.

Are you sure there were only 12? I seem to remember about 30 or so. (Surprisingly, I was in the 15+ Finals, so I didn't get to play...)

Yes, I checked the records to be sure. It was 12, and Terry Yeung won the DS, with a borrowed deck I think. You may be remembering the total number of side event players at around 30, which it was. Most played in Booster drafts though.

it pains me to say this, but I will be unable to attend regionals this year because school happens to fall on the same day.:frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:

at least I still have states to go to

Well, I thought it best to be honest, seeing as how "the truth is out there." Anyways, this would have been my strategy, but since I won't be there, I decided to spoil everyone else's strategy. I could have had fun, said everyone would be using decks of KillerBunnies cards:clap: , but I decided to tell the truth and spoil your precious strategy. So goes the life of the phantom

Ted and I have been meeting on Wednesday nights planning and testing our super secret deck. We call it THE JUDGE. Our super secret deck will guarentee that neither of us will lose a match all day!
