I just got home. I took 7th place.:frown:

The top four when I left were:

Robert with Dark Slowking
A guy with LBS
A guy with Stage 1 Liability (<---That's the guy that beat me in top8.)

And the last spot in the top4 was still being fought over by Ross (LBS) and Paul (Metatrode). I had to leave before they finished.

Other notable stuff:

Levi got 34th place.
My brother went 4-2 with Wobbycham (23rd place due to terrible resistance).
I got 7th with Queendom.
I beat Lucas (LBS) in the top16.

3. Ross C (Storm)
4. Robert R (Slowking/Dark Slowking)

I led Tyler in top 4 for almost the entire time but his 2nd game he just was able to keep powering guys and win with about 5 min+ to tie it. We setup right before time was called and ascension decks are a lot better in sudden death, I couldn't draw Holon's Magneton/trode for Jirachi. Fantastic job by him with the rogue deck that I didn't think was consistant enough to play when I tested it.
My top 8 match with Paul was even 1-1 when time was called. We had to play a 1 prize layout sudden death game. After I made a terrible misplay that would've won the game otherwise, I had to admin us both to one and the ensuing game took about 30 minutes. After a few topdecks and long considered plays from both sides later I was able to pull out a very intense game.
Levi went 3-0 and fell to 3-3. In round 6 he had both Blastoise prized =/.

Whoa! I never would've expected Stage 1 Liability to win it all. That's just crazy. Who'd of predicted that?

I lost to him in top8. He won the first game vs. my queendom in just a few turns, then in the next game, I got a good setup and kept hitting with Lariot for 70, taking 6 prizes in a span on 7 turns. Then in our third game, I start with a lone Pidgey, which gets poisoned quickly. I copycat for 4 and get a terrible draw. My Pidgey dies of poison.:frown:

Ouch. I was Levis first loss BTW.

2 Blastoise prized...Wow.

Why I can't believe Tyler actually played that deck, let alone won with it.

So, Tyler, how much of that scholarship money do I get? jk

Just my luck. I get eliminated in T16(two horrid starts against a Bannette ex-Mew ex-Dark Crobat deck which got godhands in both games), and a guy I beat in the first six rounds gets first with.......S1Wuk.

><

All in a day's work. lol

Also, anyone notice that LBS failed to T4? I find that to be funny, and it's just what I wanted to hear(silly netdeckers, great decks don't get posted online).

I made that deck in November. If I used someone else's list I would've lost much earlier. Also if I called it LBS and not Storm I would've lost much earlier.
