OREGON State Championship - March 21, 2009

Oh shawn, I remember him.
He was my first league leader and he helped me so much.
Too bad he has to stop because of personal reasons.
 
I think I figured out the secret! At states, BDS and the gang are finally gonna give out the City Medals!
Either that or they are gonna announce that PUI is sending them to us after Nats are over...

I have got it Vince McMahn will be there to announce that Summer Slam 2009 will be at the Oregon State Fairgounds in Salem the same day as Regionals. And one of the featured confrontations will be a Tag Team Retirement Match Between Team Oregon of BDS and Mr Raichu VS Team Washington of Pokeplayer and Pokemather. Loosing team will have to give up thier PTO status and the winning team will take over both states!! Lets Get it on!!!

Mather and Player... Barins and Bawn Gee if did not know better I would say that they were an actual WWE Tag team. So who do you think would be there ringside manager?

I place my entire Lv.X collection on the Snorlax and Raichu. They'd beat a Slacking and Math Teacher any day. :cool: Seriously, over active Raichu beats a "lazy" slacking anyday. And Watch out for the Snorlax's body slam. C'mon, Team OR-EE-GON, I have faith in you.

I tried calling the Raichu himself to ask what the big announcement was. I ended up leaving him voice message and then he called me when my phone was off. The message I got back was a raspberry. Very funny Mr. Raichu. :rolleyes:

I'll manage, so I can sneak David really hard math equations to throw at Clanton.
 
Oh you got my lightning bolts fired up already!!! Just the thought of having a shoot-out with David & Terry would be a dream come true but, I guess I'll settle for the WA State Trophy instead.

Oregon takes this round... momma_june, it seems like she could nutralize Articjedi failry effectively.
 
It completely depends on the criteria you use...

Initial volume? Terry handsdown. But long term sustained decibles over the durration of a tournement? Not even a contest Chris all the way.
 
Announcements

WOW, so much speculation on what Chris' BIG announcement will be. Since Chris and I are partners in this great Pokemon journey, I am one of the few people who actually knows what the announcement is. I have read with interest all the theories presented here and I can definitely say no one has it corrrect yet. While I can't tell you what it is and spoil the surprise, I can tell you a few things:
  1. Almost everyone will be shocked or amazed or excited when they hear the announcement.
  2. It is something that everyone can, and most likely will want to help make happen.
  3. Those of you that predicted it would happen "on stage" at Regionals had that part right.
  4. Finally, if I didn't go to Regionals and found out later I missed this, I would never forgive myself, so mark the date for Regionals on your calendar right now - April 18th at the State Fairgrounds, in the same location as the Oregon State Championships!
In more immediate news, I will have an announcement before the end of the weekend about the State Championships. It's something many of you should be able to take advantage of and is our way of saying thanks for making Pokemon the leading TCG in Oregon, at least as far as Chris, June and I are concerned! :wink:
