The UnderDog That No One Saw Coming - GENESES

get over what?
not like i lost to him, i lost to a high caliber player
still pretty disappointing when yah think about it =/

If Geneses was so last week why are you still reading here? and last time a checked even though you didn't lose to him, that HIGH CALIBER player you lost to, he got smoked by Geneses on turn two and didn't stand a chance during his first game .

Maybe you should beat him in a game before you can say he's not a high caliber player.

I know geneses, i didnt goto nationals because i was sick - but i did goto battle roads where he deafeated me and was a worthy opponent. I hope he sweeps worlds.

Geneses i will be with you the whole way home.

Hey, Lakak, most Golem decks are DESIGNED to smoke you with the turn 2 Geodude if you are not ready for it!

You are not donked if you fell into the plans of a deck...but whatever.

That is about as inane as saying, so someone who went first and was stuck with 1 basic against an infernape deck who rare candied and used a DRE that they got donked, when that play is the POINT of an infernape deck.

What I am seeing here, is a lot of the elite Canadian players, in their attitudes, showing that they were not ready to handle something "outside the box"

Good luck to all of you at Worlds.

Vince

agrees.....but my Golem deck is a t-1 KO and then t-2 KO on the nest poke, then the next poke will get knocked before they knock out my Golem.

1) Geneses is gonna get smoked at worlds
2) he IS NOT high caliber player, he lucksacked, unless he can prove me otherwise
3) Ill leave kant to say what he wants to say on the bolded part
4) quote me on this, only time he's gonna make it to worlds
5) To BE a high caliber player, you must have done well during season(s)
you just dont become high caliber just because you lucksacked one tournament(<3 u jermy, where art' though?!)
6) Why is Kant high caliber? From the start he was good T4ing at his first cities with a bad metanite list. He eventually came to what he is now, amazing player. Sure I lost to him on a bad start but I'll get you next season bro ;) Now its up to you to represent Canada.

Always rollin...

I wouldnt call not drawing an infernape after half my deck is gone SITTING on candies and chimchar for the entire game (letting him push 3 candies away) anything close to "stood no chance"

and i wont even comment on the t2. The best player in the world can lose to the biggest randie in the world if they start with some basic and no supporters

Honest question, since I don't know: how many Canadians have been Worlds multiple times?

Ive been to worlds 3x times on a row, which was broken this year :frown:
ive been to worlds(STS etc) 5x now

Creswells(Brian,Greg, etc) have been going 5 years and counting

gordon has been going for, well, along time

Sebastian crema went to worlds many times and i think it was 3x in a row already but this year as well didnt play so he didnt make it

Spencer barth, and barths, been going for a very long time, but they have quit this season

expect to see kant next year at worlds to.

What do we have in common?
Were all high caliber players.

Yes Andy, it was in the Masters, oh yes even if Pokekid did slander you as you claim you don't have to sink toward his level.

That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard--notice that's what they people doing the bullying will always say (in order to try to make you feel guilty for standing up for yourself).

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Sometimes I am sickened by the mob mentality of people in this game (and as a whole). Ya'll need to get over yourselves--if you were all so damn good, one of you would have knocked him out. Donked? Give me a break, this guy just won NATIONALS and you do NOT donk you way through nats, even in Canada.

you have to do well for(usually, sometimes more) 1-2 seasons or more before you "high caliber", kant has already shown that in a matter of a year which is amazing.

It all depends how you play
Thats what we have in common
were good
lol
