^ I hate switch, only new players that don\'t know what they\'re doing should ever play it. Warp Point is so much better because it usually disrupts the opponent. Never play switch...

wow you are unbelievably full of it...
warp point can be worse than switch in alot of cases
you have a pokemon beating up on mine, i want to get him out of there, and still kill your pokemon
many decks dont snipe, which mens if i want to hurt your pokemon and get my guy out of there, i need a way to get my guy out of the active spot, and onto the bench while keeping your pokemon the same
switch does this, warp point doesnt
think before you speak next time

it will when it is forced to deal with mightyena. however, most players don't use mightyena as tech or otherwise, so being that it's not a problem in the metagame, i suppose you don't need switch. Even though this deck is hands down fastest in the format though, other disruption decks make short work of the krickets. Nice anti-kricket start is CG Mawile.

i think you're a bigger n00b for overlooking it, anything with 2+ retreat should be played with either switch or warp, sometimes you don't want the opponent to switch theirm actives, especially with snipe decks. kricket could use switch, cuse the active is the one that usually attacks best, so that wants to die.

This deck doesn't need any sort of switchers. The deal here is that you put up a Kricketune and attack with it until it's dead. Repeat this five times, and proceed to either win or lose, depending on how awful your opponent's start was.

THATS WHY Warp point is the play. Due to the decks speed, at times the oppenent will send up something to sac to set up, warp point will make you hit something they needed. Also , you COMPLETELY forgot about status conditions. Your best attack needs 2 grass so warp point>heal nrg. More disruptive and useful.

the deck has so many spaces for trainers it can afford to leave a couple for switch/warp point. what it can't afford is an opponent's warp point, driving howl, special conditions and other stage ones who mostly have 80+ hp. You need to be able to put an injured cricket on the bench so that you can squeeze another attack out of him once your opponent gets a KO.

never said it did, just making a point that switch is sometimes more usefull than warp point.

this deck, as you've said, needs neither

Just a couple of notes about the BR and the Deck. You need TSD they help so much easily the most important mid-late game card. Another note, The ammount of baisic pokemon search is right IMO, i always got set up right with that engine. Last but not least Pokedex Handy rocks, it helps so much. Makes the deck much faster and some who seems more versitile.

And with The Captain, we have Kricketune's first success story that I've heard of (I can't make it to any BRs except on the 6th and 7th of October >.>). Congrats! What age division?

Got 2nd in Masters today at the NYC BR...was quite a large turnout too - not sure of a number of people but we had 5 rounds with T4 cut. The final game: I won game 1, game 2 two krickitot were prized, game 3 one krickitot prized and couldn't get ANY krickitune out...had krickitot w/ energy powered up but couldnt get it out. My opponent was also playing a very quick deck so it was hard to keep up...I still dont really like this deck but was satisfied with how i did considering i finished my deck basically on the train ride to nyc and with limited card...i wont post my list but i will say its much different than these posted here.

my son got 3rd in juniors with this yesterday his only swiss loss kept him out of top2 due to low attendance of juniors
