Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Virginia's 08-09 City Championship Info

If you don't preregister at Fairfax, can you still play in the tournament?

Yeah, but there's always a HUGE wating list for those who don't preregister.

You'd be a LOT better off preregistering.

I am glad people are looking forward to seeing me, although, they can't spell Ascension correctly. *rolls eyes at charchar*

Patrick has discovered girls, Guitar Hero, and football. I can honestly say that his heart is not in the game anymore--so he might not even be playing tomorrow.

Disappointing news. If Patrick drops out entirely the game will have lost one of its rising stars. Will he still hang around at a few events, even if he doesn't participate in them?

Another saddening tidbit of info (although not nearly as depressing): I won't be there tomorrow. January 10th is the earliest you'll see me.

Good luck to everybody competing tomorrow!

GUITAR HERO AND FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!?????????:eek::eek::eek:

I can understand girls, but plastic instruments and football???!!!:eek: Oh well, to each his own.

He has just discovered girls? Isn't it a bit late for him to realize they're there since he has been around them since kindergardin?

I've never heard of someone being so afraid to battle Steven and Dean that they'd make up an excuse like that

Good luck to everyone at Warrenton today! The event should be starting up shortly!

I'm gonna copy SuperWooper and do a mini report:

Game 1: I donk

Game 2: I get donked

Game 3: I donk

Game 4: I would have won but made one misplay that cost the game.

Game 5: I get a better start and win.

I end up 3-2 fifth just barely missing cut.

Props:

Jesus

Getting Dusky X!!!!!!

Throwing a penny at Johny C and it hitting his head, bouncing off his soda, hitting him in the eye and eventually landing in a tub of ketchup.

Meeting Johny R, Steven Y and some other people who's names I can't remember.

Slops:
People saying behind my back "He's Octillery49"

Johny C and my little brother both getting dead last.

Not making top cut by one place.

Johny C and Lucario EX being mean to me. ) : (It's not MY fault I'm somewhat scatter-brained.)

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

BTW Yoyofosho, I still have your luxury ball and you still have my friends Togepi.

Mini report...

Wife earned respect. 3-0 .. then.. 3-1. . then... 3-2. .. lol

Angelica retired her Glaceon Deck from tournies.. (time for her to play her own stuff  )

I created another entirely weird rogue and enjoyed the opponents saying "I don't know what your deck does..."

ahahahaha

David did his thing. Tourney was top notch.
Judges did their thing. Nothing but Kudos there. I even learned a new rule (well... an OLD rule that I now understand.. LOL)

PROPS:

The SUPER STRONG senior division...
wow... Line up = Dean, Steven, Aaron, Patrick... there should be a law.... (poor angelica..)

Patrick & Aaron getting Angelica a seat when she was trying to play standing up...
Mrs. T for being a caring person. She's awesome :)

NoVA crew and players for making us feel so welcome.

I had a blast meeting the Wongs (Angelina and Bro ... kevin?)
and Pedro, and Pablo (yeah! Latin Power FTW!)
I wish that crew went to ALL of the events. They were cool.

I can't believe my deck held up to two RegiX and 2 DuskX decks! I really thought it'd get absoltely ripped apart.

SLOPS:

I'll slop myself for having ALL games go completely to TIME...

ALL IN ALL

We all left smiling and exhilerated. Good fun.

Thanks to everyone who was a part of this event. These events are so much fun.

Hobby Works has the preregistration list: Please tell them your POP ID number when preregistering. The cap on it is 60 people. The store is closed at this time, but please don't call them immediately when they open tomorrow. Store employees (doesn't matter where, and I'm no exception either ) really dislike it when people call them within the first 10-20 minutes of opening.
Please tell them your POP ID number when preregistering! If you don't do this, totoro is going to be angry with me, which'll ruin my day, and then I'm going to be angry with you which means if you come to my league I get to talk to your parents (if you're young enough). And parents are such friendly people--they love to tell embarrassing stories about their kids

Not making top cut by one place.
Join the club :nonono:

yeah. I don't think the senior has been so scary since Patrick and Arron dominated a few years back.

Yeah. Unfortunately, they always show up when I'm judging or LLing so I don't get to talk to them as much as I'd like.
