Werewolf xvi the rise of team plasma: Town wins

Wow, I go extra credit C++ programming for a whole day, and come home to read this thread for 1.5hrs. Interesting stuff!

It doesn't appear that Scott has had a chance to defend himself, yet everyone keeps voting (not that I'm against that). Yet, for all I know Scott could be hiding to try to shed the votes, or he could be busy. As for myself, I haven't read enough evidence to justify myself to vote him.

Can't wait to see the update though!

The third day dawned with a vengeance and the town quickly resumed their daily tasks of eating, lounging, and pointing fingers at each other in an attempt to find Team Plasma. The Unova defenders were clearly getting a bit desperate. The death of sdrawkcab weighed on them and many people scoured the hallway for clues as to who he may have targeted during the previous night.

Quite suddenly, everyone looked up to see a shadow falling across the large silver bannister with an imprint of a dragon upon it that hung above the iron-clad door. Daytime was drawing quickly to a close and no one member of the group had received any large amount of attention.

“What was it that Sandslash7 was saying before he died? Didn't he try and pass some help on to Scottistru?”

“Ya I think so...But what if he was just trying to frame him on his way down?”

“Then why are so many people defending Scottistru?? we should lynch him just for information if nothing else!”

Sitting at a makeshift bench made of wood from the doors blasted apart during the nights, Scottistru was holding some odd looking device up to his ear and shaking it lightly, apparently overwhelmingly intrigued with whatever sound it was making. A few people began to near him slowly and cautiously.

Scottistru looked up from his array of electronics and various tools to see a full circle of various faces peering down at him cautiously.

“Care to tell us what you are doing over here while the rest of us are trying to fight Team Plasma, Scottistru

“I am a student of ALL sciences! I don't know how I got here, but this is an amazing opportunity to learn about the dream world and its connection to my universe!”

The faces exchanged frowns, eyes focused upon an odd hand-held device that contained several buttons, switches and a fairly large display. His work bench had clearly suffered from some minor explosions and various burns.

“And what exactly is that?”, asked PokechampOfPokebeach, pointing at a particularly explosive looking gizmo.

“That? I am trying to fix my time machine. Well. My Delorean. They are one and the same really. This is a flux capacitor! But it isn't working. That's what I mean about researching the dream world! I think I can our research to figure out EVERYTHING.”

“OUR research? Who? You and Team Plasma?”

“Hey! Sandslash7 was ALSO from another world. Scottistru HAS to be a member of Team Plasma...who else could he be working with.

“To the contrary! I am working to fight Team Plasma. Experimenting with the dream world and how it overlaps with reality could give us a large weapon against Team Plasma! We just need more time...”

“WE? So you admit to conspiracy! Why SHOULDN'T we lynch you now???”

Scottistru looked up slowly and turned to examine all of his attackers in turn. Those that were not circled around him watched with interest from nearby. Only one woman seemed uninterested in the happenings of the day. She gazed at the silver and black banner, almost as lost to the world as the accused had been. Her absent-minded appearance betrayed her as she was actually quite focused on her surroundings yet simultaneously processing all the information of the day. Scottistru let his gaze fall on her.

“Help me.”, he pleaded.

“We do what we must, Scottistru. The people have spoken.”

A beam of flames swooshed across the room from some unknown location and raced towards Scottistru's work bench. He turned to face the heat source and his eyes widened. Attempting to jump aside, he tripped and knocked several tools off the bench in his attempt. The fire raced towards the makeshift workshop and

“BOOM”

The flux capacitor exploded, sending a shockwave across the castle floor and causing several people to fall to the ground. Everyone immediately turned back to see about Scottistru. He was dead.

You are Doc Brown and your DeLorean is a time machine. Exactly 3.6 weeks ago, your time machine stopped working. Perplexed, you popped open the hood and began rummaging around for some hint of disturbance. Finding nothing, you scratched your head and took a seat in the driver's side to mull over what could possibly be wrong. Perhaps starting the DeLorean and taking it for a drive would give some insight into the nature of the issue. You backed the car out of the driveway and take off towards the freeway. Your mind drifted away, or more accurately, you can't really recall what happened next. All of a sudden you wake up and are on a clear country highway driving 80 miles per hour. 81..82...85..88..90 The DeLorean seemed to have developed a mind of its own and was racing to speeds well beyond its normal capabilities. Suddenly...WHAM! You wake up to realize you were knocked out cold for some amount of time. Your DeLorean was battered and still needs work before it will function as a car, let alone a time machine. The first thing you noticed upon waking up was a strange looking monster that stood on four short legs, had a round pink body, and red eyes. Munna led you back to the nearest city (named Striaton) and into a lab to meet Professor Fennel. She took particular interest to your story and is interested in helping you return to your universe.

Role: During the night, you may PM me the name of a player. You know that other people from different times and universes have also appeared in the Unova region. Learning about them is the key to discovering what brought them here and this knowledge may ultimately allow you to return to your universe. If you target a player who isn't from this world, you will learn their name and gather some data from them that may prove useful.

Win Condition: Town Wins.

The townspeople quickly prepared for the night, setting up sleeping bags and plotting their actions. One shadow could be seen lingering over Scottistru's workbench.

My apologies for being inactive. My internet wasn't working for most of the day when I got back, but it seems to be working now.

You should update the title of the thread. Also, think you could post a final vote count with end-of-day updates?

Everyone will soon understand my "business"--
I will try to play through one more day.
I want to dedicate more time to another matter. This is unexpected but I do not want to turn it down.
Trust me everyone, you all need to understand. I will make an announcement on this matter as soon as I can.
This is such a fun game and all, I do enjoy playing and would like to continue if I can.
AAM- you will recieve a pm, I do appologize but I know you and Ulti of all poeple will understand what I can not announce at this time.
Thanks everyone, like I said- this is a 50/50 matter, I will post again when I can with more info.
I will look for a bump so as to not double post, and if need be, I might have to edit my postings.
Bare with me- I am doing this to benefit everyone. I will keep all yall posted--

^thanx for the bump--

I will continue to play unless my duties and training takes the time I spend on ww and leaves me no "spare time" to devote for this.

AAM has a heads up, and if need be, replacement for my roll is an option. Thanks all yall for understanding this "mystery" situation, believe me all yall will have an answer/understanding in due time.

See yall for the "next day" and I will hang in as long as I can.

Scottistru's workbench was disassembled quickly as night fell and no one really seemed to know what any of his devices did, so they were mostly discarded. The final ray of light finally fell off of the silvery banner and everyone quickly hustled to their now familiar sleeping places to fall asleep...or plan ahead...for the night. The blackness of the night was sudden and the chandeliers provided only partial lighting in the large lounge.

One woman found herself unable to sleep. Accustomed to long hours, she found herself preoccupied with work and the Team Plasma invasion on most nights so this was not abnormal. She did have a specific destination in mind this night, and slipped from her bed. Fear trickled across her feet and up her body as her bare feet contacted the cold stone floor. The bedrooms were usually carpeted, but this one had suffered a particularly bad Mothim infestation, and the carpet had been removed.

Her door opened with a small “creak” and she stepped out into the hall, carefully looking both ways for rampaging Team Plasma members or rogue Ramparadoses. Finding the dark hallway satisfactorily peaceful, she walked with purpose towards the door leading into the lounge. Once again, a sensation washed over her, and she flashed around to see a glimmering Rattata sniffing around the purple and silver carpet. It looked up and met her gaze. The woman felt around for the door she had just been right next to, but found her arm quite unable to move. She attempted to call out to the pokémon, but found herself transfixed on it. She blinked. The hallway was dark. The shining Rattata was no longer visible and she rubbed her eyes to adjust to the once again black hallway.

Grasping and turning the door knob, she was relieved to hear the fancy wooden door open readily, revealing the lounge with its dim lighting. Her confidence rallied and she edged along the side of the room; her destination was the looming iron clad door leading to the left-hand hall. As she paced along the side of the stone room, nearly knocking into statues of former champions and renowned researchers, a few strange sights met her eyes.

Two purposeful silhouettes stood up from the wall near the main entrance and began walking towards the opposite corner of the lounge. The shadows spoke in whispers and then remained silent for their journey. One of them was wielding some object and cautiously peered around the room as they glided. The other shadow did not seem to care for such paranoia and walked upright at a quick pace.

The woman realized she had stopped moving and shook herself. She had something to do...What was it again? A faint glow from her satchel caught her attention and she began once more edging towards her destination. The shadows reached the far corner of the room and one of them sat down on a silvery love seat. A faint glow emanated from something in his hand and possibly some words passed between the shadows. Apparently content, they began the return trip. The woman looked across the room to see the iron clad door still a ways away, then turned to the wall to watch for obstacles in her path, only to find...the iron clad door. She once again shook herself and rallied her sanity. Quickly she opened it and stepped into the red and gold covered hall. “PEW”, a red beam at the far end of the hall sailed through an open door and into one of the bedrooms. A pair of boots echoed off the stone floor down the hall in retreat. She blinked and continued to her target...the room that had just been fired into. Breaking into a run, she raced to the end of the hall...Three rooms to go, two, …. She peered around the hallway for signs of the booted man, but found none. Turning back to the open door, she saw her target. She quickly opened her pack and placed a glowing wrapped object onto the night stand in the room and turned and once again sprinted back down the hall, breathing heavily in fear. The iron door once more opened readily, revealing the lounge.

She could have sworn that her absence from the lounge was mere seconds long, but the scene that met her eyes begged a different conclusion. The whole castle was awake and either fleeing, ducking for cover, or engaging in one of the various struggles going on. A man wearing some dull and mono-color suit was looking disappointed with his arms crossed as a small figure patrolled around him rhythmically. The woman followed his stare to a struggle near the kitchen door. Another shadowy figure was surrounded by three people and had her back pressed against the gray stone wall.

“Team Plasma.”, echoed Napoleon's voice calmly as a death knell off the walls. “I knew you would come sooner or later. You were wise to come and eliminate me early, but I will claim one of your own either way...”

The silhouettes surrounding Napoleon fidgeted, clearly uncertain of how to respond to this threat. Napoleon smiled and a chandelier above her swooped down and fire spun out from its candlelight, swirling towards Team Plasma who were forced to sidestep, duck, and dive out of the way to avoid being burnt. A glimmer of red escaped Napoleon's belt and another form joined her side. Stoutland roared loudly and quickly charged for the man who had dived aside. The man quickly vaulted over a nearby chair and was thrown clear as Stoutland continued its charge straight into it. Chandelure launched a shadowy ball towards a second Team Plasma uniform-clad shadow but the ball exploded into a mist as a shimmering wall erupted from the darkness to stop it.

Some pokémon latched onto Chandelure and wrestled with it as Chandelure echoed its eerie call and shot fire off in random directions, searing various parts of the carpet and igniting a nearby sofa. Stoutland reared back and charged at the nearby ghostly brawl, baring its teeth, “FWOOOSH”. A jet of fire from Chandelure cut it short and it averted its charge, ramming into a nearby wall. A flash of light produced a Watchog from the air. Napoleon seemed slightly detached from the ongoing battle, focusing on something only she could see. Watchog ran up and swiped at her, and Napoleon unsheathed a knife. Watchog fell short and looked curiously at Napoleon who was only vaguely looking at Watchog, yet held the knife straight towards Watchog's heart. Chandelure vanished with an explosion of purple flames washing over its attacker.

“NO!”, the owner of the pokémon recalled it quickly before the flames could overcome it, and turned to the man who had released Watchog. “KILL HER. DO IT NOW”

Watchog dove onto Napoleon, who side stepped the dive and slashed back, causing a spray of dark red to spill over the night. Chandelure reappeared on top of Stoutland. Becoming incorporeal, Chandelure sunk into Stoutland's body, glowing and causing Stoutland to appear shiny. Stoutland roared and charged the third man, as a barrier of fire swished around it. The man dove aside, cursing, robes on fire. A pulse of black rippled from Stoutland/Chandelure and formed into several Shadow Balls. Stoutland once again turned around and aimed itself for the Watchog trainer as the glowing death balls orbited around it before shooting outwards towards all three members of Team Plasma. In mid air, all three ignited. A barrier formed and the first ball “HISSSEED” into it, exploding like a miniature supernova. The second smashed into Watchog who fainted immediately. The third swirled towards the man with singed robes and he rolled aside, his robes once again lighting on fire, but this time the fire was black.

“ENOUGH” The Grunt pulled a shiny metallic object from his pocket and aimed it at Napoleon. “Now, you die!”. Napoleon maintained a neutral expression and cocked her head to the side slightly.

“It was always going to end in violence. I am prepared to do my part for the Unova region”

“BLAM”

Napoleon fell out of view, dead. The grunt grinned and began re-holstering his gun.

“She was all ta-”, cut off short. The grunt grabbed his throat and appeared to be ripping at a force that wasn't there. Unable to speak or breathe, he fell to the floor gasping for air. A strange chorus echoed across the walls and the observer found herself transfixed, her mind recalling all instances of loss she had ever experienced.

She could not figure out how long the song had been playing, but finally it was ended by a command:

“Reshiram, HYPER BEAM”

A large ray of pure energy exploded from the balcony and incinerated WayneGG immediately.

Ghetsis recalled the pokémon and exited the balcony with a swish.

The dawn arose and Chandelure and Stoutland had fled the castle. Left behind were three bodies...

Desufnoc was found. His body was perfectly uninjured.

You are Team Plasma Grunt #31,415,926. When the fight erupted at the pokémon league, you charged in the front line, summoning your array of pokémon that you and every other grunt seems to have. "Garbodor, poison gas!" "Watchog confuse ray!" Dancing through the smoke and chaos, you belted commands out to your pokémon and rejoiced in the ensuing panic of the pokémon league. A "SCREEEE" from above makes you jump and you hit the deck just as a Staraptor claws at you with its talons. rolling over and grabbing a nearby stone that had crumbled off the wall, you pelt it at Staraptor, smacking it square in the underbelly. Staraptor shrieks, veering up to avoid a gunk shot from Garbodor. A howl attracts your attention, and you turn around to see a devilish Houndoom, its eyes hungry, flanking your position. Houndoom leapt into the air and comes in for your neck. Your confidence fails you only momentarily as the beast comes in for the kill and you cover your face. The sound of shattering glass pulsates across the room and is followed by a momentary silence. You look to see that your Garbodor has burned through a chandelier's chain with acid, shattering it all over Houndoom, who now lay at your feet unconscious and bleeding. Wiping the blood from your own arm, you stand up and turn around, but are too slow to react as Staraptor swooped in to drill peck Watchog, scoring a critical hit and ending Watchog's contributions to the fight. Staraptor once again flees, this time before you can find another fallen stone. A quick glance around the room shows that other Team Plasma forces have successfully pushed into adjoining rooms and were making quick work of the unsuspecting castle. Chasing after Staraptor, you later came to regret this mistake. A Gallade stood, blades at its side and peering at the ground in meditation, in the next room over. Gallade detected your life-force and pointed its left blade straight at your heart. A psychic pulse emanated from the blade and swirled through the air, showing that Gallade's aim was far too accurate. For the second time that minute, closed your eyes and braced yourself...but the blow never came. Your vision returns to you to see that Garbodor threw itself in front of the attack, but the psychic attack was more than the poison-type could handle and it lay useless on the floor before you. Just your luck, you think as you flee to the main entry hall...Now you no longer have any pokémon to fight for you. Looks like you are going to have to do this the old-fashioned way.

At any time during the game you may communicate with your fellow werewolves (404 Not Found) in any manner you wish (e-mail, PM, IM, etc), but it is (403 Forbidden)'s PM that decides who Team Plasma kills each night.

Win Condition: Team Plasma Wins.

On the far side of the room, Napoleon was found...

You are Bianca and you have resolved yourself to protect the innocent from Team Plasma's war. You have been Professor Juniper's bodyguard throughout most of the events leading up to this ordeal, but you do not know where she is now. You have become slightly jaded due to the conflicts with Team Plasma and your having witnessed deaths of some pokémon you care dearly about. Despite this, you have found new strength, both as a trainer and as a warrior. You have no more emotions to spare for Team Plasma and will show them no mercy, given the opportunity.

Role (Chandelure): During the night, you may PM me the name of a player. Your Chandelure will use Destiny Bond on that player. If the player you target dies, the killer will also die.

Win Condition: Town Wins.

Finally, WayneGG (although really Redados1 I mean Wayne didn't even post yet... was dead, incinerated by Reshiram.

You are Dobby, a free elf! Your memories are hazy. You awoke in the middle of a forest, to find yourself being examined by a pink and white monster with blue eyes. Panicking, you fell off the rock you were perched upon and thudded to the ground. The Audino giggled and its laugh was soothingly musical. Since waking up here, you have spent the past 3 months familiarizing yourself with the Unova region and its inhabitants. You made immediate friends with a man named Alder who offered you food and shelter after finding you one day. After catching wind of the invasion, you flashed over to the pokémon league to aid him. You arrived to a scene of chaos, masked behind a veil of smokescreen. You used your magic to locate Alder's vital force and apparate to him. Fwooosh! Through the smoke, you could make out an enormous ball of fire shoot from one of Team Plasma's pokémon. You wrapped yourself around the man next to you; although you could not see him, you could sense it was Alder, and vanished with him, reappearing a meter to the side. The fireball sailed past and blasted the rock wall behind you into bricks.

Role: During the night you may PM me the name of a player. You will use your magic (which is less potent in this world, yet functional) to stalk someone as secretly as possible. You will learn who that person targets during the night and who targets them. If someone reads your alignment while you are using this role, they will be told that your alignment could not be determined.

Win Condition: Town Wins.

I think Jpulice is almost cleared by the update. Tired woman is most likely not a member of team plasma. PCoPB claims Drayden, also most likely not a TP WW.

As for the gym leaders, I wonder if there is any chance that one of them is on the WW side. It doesn't seem likely, but I also want to say that we can't auto clear everyone that claims a GL.
