Why Does Galactic Win

I thought I saw a LOT of Toxicroak/Skunktank decks in the 'What won states?' thread :confused:
 
^Toxitank with other G stuff won NC states, beating DP (Dialga G/Palkia G) in the top 2. Seemed like a pretty good deck to me. Beat me in top 8.
 
My states was

2 in top4 masters. One won in masters, the other 3rd.
Top4 in seniors, ALL were galactic decks.
Then in juniors it took second.

And in seniors, there was about 12 GALACTIC DECKS OUT OF 38 PEOPLE. Yeah, about 1/3 of the decks were galactic. Top 5 were galactic (me 5th >.> lol) then some spread
